please post pictures of the worst and rarest plastic vacs.....

Volta/Electrolux ErgoEasy Canister This is very bad. One major design fail really ruins this vacuum. It's the bin/cyclone system. Bin is two part system where the other part is the cyclone and other part is container where the dust is supposed to go. In the small cyclone chamber there is...

    cutest vac award?

I agree with you. I have never liked woven hoses. They are stiff and over time starts to leak.

    cutest vac award?

Lux S115 Many wouldn't call it cute, but I do. I just love how this 2020 vacuum looks in many parts like it came from the 70's.

Is the Kirby's airflow and performance over exaggerated?

I don't get why Kirby gets so much hate from some persons. I have not seen ANYONE praising Kirby to be the best carpet cleaner. Yes it's very good, but come on. Some limit to these trolls. Note that the airflow effects to every vacuuming job. Low airflow vacuums needs to be very near to the dirt...

    Electrolux Velocity

In Europe we still have those "Eureka" Electrolux vacuums and thank god, good old Lux vacuums. Lux S116 and Electrolux Ultraone:

Clean Paint/Scuff Off Plastic & Rubber Trim

I use magic eraser type "wonder sponge" for cleaning heavy stains. Just need to be very careful not to damage shiny plastics. After that polishing if needed.

My airflow tests (mainly from the nozzle)

@gottahaveahoove Thanks! I have been done these a lot. These give the raw numbers how the different vacuums perform. Full plylist of my tests:

My airflow tests (mainly from the nozzle)

Yes the label really says 580 w and 635 w in the hose mode. However for some reason many of my vacuums use much more than the label says. For example Vorwerk claims 900 w, but it uses around 1200 w. Same with some older canisters: Claim 1000 w and real usage over 1200 w. I need to find my power...

My airflow tests (mainly from the nozzle)

Here is a fun fact. 35 years old Miele S234i has 98 hose cfm and few years old Miele C3 has 109 hose cfm. So basically C3 is more efficient using 600 watts less power but only losing 11 cfm to the C3.

Is the Kirby's airflow and performance over exaggerated?

    Here is something :D

Is the Kirby's airflow and performance over exaggerated?

Fine powder is fine for the Kirby unless there is unrealistic amount of it. Then the belt starts to slip. In the normal situations Kirby is very good at fine stuff. Now where this whole Kirby thing even came along? I don't even use Kirby so often. Actually very rarely just to enjoy it like...

My airflow tests (mainly from the nozzle)

Now something totally different. My DIY upright with Shark (750w) motor, Dyson DC14 bin and Electrolux PH. Let the video speak for itself.

Is the Kirby's airflow and performance over exaggerated?

Well here we go again😂 Like you know I have rubber backed medium pile rug and Kirby did amazing job removing sand from it in my sand in the carpet test. So even with the low suction it cleans very well. Note that Kirby needs that airflow because the cleaning head opening is huge. My G6 has stiff...

    Dyson v11 "Outsize"

Size and weight is getting ridiculous on the new V11. Dyson has lost their minds with this. I like the wider cleaning head and removable battery, but come on Dyson. It's a stick vacuum and they need to be light. They really need to place the vacuum unit much lower position next to the cleaning...
