My new “daily” has arrived!

First? I might be the first to show the the world—ok, maybe just Vacuumland—an American Sebo X7. I love it. I’d write more, but I’m too busy vacuuming. Will come back with more later!

For the past month or so, I have been using a team of Dyson Cinetics: UP14 Total Clean and CY18 Animal, both bought NIB. Tomorrow, however, my Sebo X7 Premium “Boost” in white arrives, and that will be my new daily upright. It’s the contemporary counterpart of your X1! Cool!

@turbo500 I’m very glad that you enjoy your X7! I bought the premium model with ‘boost,’ just like yours has. Other than the motor, I wonder if there will be any differences from the U.K. model.

Cut the top off a Sebo X-series bag and it’ll fit just about any full tube. I’d bet that it would work great in your Hoover.

Try pressing the attachment hose all the way into the body of the vacuum. There is a micro switch in the hose canal which disables the ET-1 when the hose is removed. If you don’t get the hose in all the way, the power head won’t work. Good luck!

Bag recommendations? I see that NSS bags are rather expensive and aren’t even the “fleece” type. From reading on this site, I see that shop vac bags and Kirby bags will fit. I’m more tempted by the HEPA shop vac bags since they have more area and should handle the extreme airflow better. Any...
