    Kirby Heritage II Problem

    When I use the hose on my H-II Kirby; sometimes it will not switch on and I have to hit or kick the back of the motor housing to get it to start. The orange power pilot light goes on-however. Is this a common problem with this model?

    My Model 519 Kirby is sometimes referred to as "Old Red" because of the color of the trim and the attachments. "Old" , because it IS old.

    Model 519 is the best to me . l love the red color scheme. My parents had this model. If only it had a dual-speed motor as powerful and smooth sounding as a Heritage II.
