    Looking for Kirby Omega Motor

    It's probably one of the wires on the safety switch. I put on a new safety switch on my classicIII and did not noticed when putting it back on one of the wires pop off, I found out quick that it came off.

    That is a great set of kirbys you have!! I love the early Kirbys but they are to come by at a great deal.

    What should I buy?

    If you want power do the eureka, they have a lot of suction and stick to the floor. If you want hart ace and disappointment do the halo, I had my fair share of bad circuit boards, busted bulbs, and melted brush rolls.

    Stuck Emtor on Kirby Classic Omega.

    What I do is lay the Kirby facing the ceiling and spray a little bit of WD40 around the emptor and give it a minute and then try to twist it off.

    My 1974 eureka daily driver

    I sell and work with new and used red and blue line Sanitaires, which is nice, but there is nothing like a good old fashion metal base Eureka. At work I specialize in vintage vacuums and here in El Paso people still use very old vacuums everyday so I see a few metal base Eurekas.

    If you havent found a PIG yet look under industrial vacuums on eBay, you just might get lucky someone did not list it as an NSS.
