    Sebo vacuum cleaners extreme heat

madaboutsebo, That's a good suggestion. I'll try on lower setting next time I get to use it. My friends carpets tend to be very grubby so the max setting really gets them scrubbed up clean with the excellent double Helix brush on the Felix machine. I also use it on number 1 on all floor types...

    Dyson video.....

Parwaz, It seems the price is going up and up and up. Its the research and development that we are paying for by the looks of it. I tried 2 x DC50's in the shop the other day and both had wobbling handles when the plastic wand was removed and handle fully extended, erghhh!. Give it a try next...

    I'm on the radio again

Yes you have to pull the body of the cylinder machine behind you!! I didn't say with every stroke. I just find them cumbersome myself, particularly the SEBO D4 with a motorised brush head and hose! I'm not familiar with the Windsor or the American Hoover so no point in you mentioning this to...

    I'm on the radio again

I would much prefer to push around an upright vacuum cleaner than lug around a motorised head unit on a cylinder vacuum cleaner. Tried a Sebo D4 Premium in my home and found it cumbersome.

    Dyson video.....

Parwaz, You are funny! A Peugeot for £333 no way! I do love my Peugeots though. The new Dyson product of course will be very expensive, but as they have a huge fan base, it will find a market place and probably sell well.

Miele Re-introduce the power head to the UK!

It looks like Miele will do launching this. Don't think it's an error with the photo. The specs looks good too. Love Miele products, they ooze quality non of that horrible plastic tubing you find on Dysons!

Where did you find this information out about lower wattage X and Felix machines?

    Sebo vacuum cleaners extreme heat

I got too used to my Dyson DC24 which has a 650 watt motor so doesn't generate much heat in use. Despite the fact I know machines do get hot in use but the Sebo Felix feels like one big heater being pushed around due to the heat coming out of the motor and the way the hot air exists the body...

    I'm on the radio again

Used a 1000 watt Sebo X1 at the weekend and it worked wonders on the carpet with its double Helix brush roll and the suction was excellent at the hose end. We don't need silly wattages to clean. My Dyson DC24 is only 650 watt, suction isn't great at the hose but it picks up no problem on...

Henry vacuum cleaners being thrown onto a railway by a man in Newcastle

Parwaz OMG, I'm concerned that you said that about the vacuum cleaners! They don't have feelings and won't a know a thing. More of a concern is the possible accident that could have happened if the machines caused the train to de-rail. That's the main concern here.

Yet more utter garbage from The Daily Mail regarding EU vacuum laws

My Dyson DC24 has a 650 watt motor. It's pretty good on carpets and hard floors but the hose suction is just ok for stairs and the mattress. Never found the DC24 great to use for car cleaning due to the small hose and low suction but I either use my parents more powerful machine when I visit or...

    Dyson Cinetic Launched in Canada

dysonb0y, Please can you make a claim against a proper Vax multi cyclonic next time. That is a very poor comparison you make there. The Mach Air machine for example is a proper cyclone cleaner and the filtration ability of the cyclones are excellent. Two of my friends have them and they rarely...

    Dyson Cinetic Launched in Canada

dysonb0y, It seems you will always defend Dyson. That's fine. I have seen those videos numerous times and again, Dysons with filters do clog, no matter what you say. Cinetic ones may be more efficient but since 1993 Dyson have been claiming that their machines do not lose suction and NOW...

    Dyson Cinetic Launched in Canada

dysonb0y, If you look & listen properly! Dyson say that all other machines with filters clog. Dysons with filters do clog, all the Dysons I've had the filters clog. That is the reason why Dysons with filters need their filters washing to maintain them, doesn't take rocket science! If you don't...

    Sebo vacuum cleaners extreme heat

All, Been using a Sebo Felix machine recently and noticed how hot it gets. I know it's normal behaviour of the machine to get like that but considering its only 1300 watts, they feel like pushing around a giant Heater in the house. I noticed the K1 range get very hot too. Can understand as...

    Dyson Cinetic Launched in Canada

If its true what Dyson claim. It means that EVERY other Dyson loses suction apart from their simply amazing Dyson Cinetic cyclone. Because other Dysons use filters. So maybe we've been lied to for all these years about no loss of suction that Dyson claimed to have until Cinetic arrived. We can...
