    SEBO returns to Argos

I'm going to Currys in Purley Way, Croydon on Saturday. Will try out a DC41 mk2 and a DC40 2015 to compare noise levels. The DC50 seems to be noisier than the DC24 only by a bit.

    SEBO returns to Argos

Some people may complain about Iphones being made in China but its not affected Apple sales. What happens when a new one comes out? Theres a mad rush and they are sold out. Not much one can do when increasing about of goods are being made there. Back on the subject of SEBO. I enjoyed the K1...

    SEBO returns to Argos

Vax may copy designs, but so do others. The Mach Air really impressed me. Good performance, quiet and cheaper to buy. I do not like their swivelling upright machines. The hose connector is rubbish and keeps popping off the wand handle. The Mach Air didnt do this and stayed firmly in place. A...

    SEBO returns to Argos

I disagree on the comment that Vax machines are of less quality. There's a lot if talk about it being Chinese blah blah and then I saw Dyson and British! Please can we remember that Dysons are made in Malaysia not the UK. iPhones are made in China and no one complains about that. Vax UK may...

    Dyson DC 41 MK11

Parwaz, It simply cuts out and you would just reset it by pressing on the brush bar on/off button to reset the motor. That's what's I've always done, even when I had the reset button on there. I only ever needed to use the reset button once when it kept on popping out when there was a bang...

    Dyson DC 41 MK11

Parwaz, That's not correct. My DC24 doesn't have a reset button. This head spins slower than the older DC24 heads and it cleans just as well.

    Dyson DC24 possible motor failure

Smow69, Since I posted this. My DC24 brush motor burnt out and a spark came from the head and burning smell. The main motor is fine however and I have a new head on my machine since June this year 2014 and it seems fine. Does your machine do it when cleaning with the brush on or when it's...

Has anyone sued Dyson for false advertising?

SEBO STILL support their machines that are over 20 something years old and the parts are all readily available.

Has anyone sued Dyson for false advertising?

Vinyage, Yes that's true. I'd rather not have to keep getting parts out all the time. But I suppose its good knowing that the backup is there. Never experienced such good service like that before. They even replaced the filters in my machine when it went in for repair. Got a DC35 out of them...

    Dyson DC24 Motor Problem

Parwaz, The DC24 Multi Floor was at least £279 when I bought mine so not sure where you got your price from! May I add that the DC25 also suffered from issues with their brush heads. It's on Manchester Vacs website if you want to see this. My friend had an issue with the spoke that turns the...

Has anyone sued Dyson for false advertising?

dysonman1 I too only like them to a point. Dysons plastic is flexible because they seem to be using less, with what they call is 'doing more with less'. There is a lot of Polypropylene plastics used on Dysons in addition to ABS & Polycarbonate. Despite all the tests Dyson claim, the real test...

Has anyone sued Dyson for false advertising?

Dysons with filters DO loose suction. What rubbish people believe about them maintaining 100 % suction. There are filters that need to be washed eventually!! Perhaps their new Cinetic cyclones don't, but I'd never spend that much to find out.

    Dyson DC24 Motor Problem

Oh plzzzz don't get me started on the DC24 and it's brush motor. I've had a head burn up on me and spark. Issues with awful rattling noises. I now have a 'different' type if head on my DC24 and a spare one just incase that seems to have the reset button removed and the brush motor sound...

    Sebo X4

I don't understand it either but the Felix I've used has been great with trapping particles. The X machine only has a sponge after the motor. It might be best you speak to Sebo Germany to ask them for more details. Would be interesting to know.

Why clutched Dysons are bad for deep pile carpet

Parwaz, My Dyson DC03 & DC04 suffered with their belts stretching. Dyson claimed the belts didn't require replacing but those belts did slip. I didn't really get an issue with the pick up. The yellow DC04 Brush Control I had was quite a nice machine when it didn't have bits breaking.

    My DC41 MK2. I must be mad!

super sweeper, I have an 8 yr old DC16 handheld that had issues with the batteries and now the DC35 cordless. It had some silly issue with shutting off after 3 mins use and had to keep pressing the trigger to use it. Dyson sent new battery and it works fine but there is still an issue. Now...

    My DC41 MK2. I must be mad!

Oliveoiltinfoil, I've not been on here in a while. Seen the pictures showing the cable of the Dyson and Sebo Felix. I did the same comparison on a 2012 Felix and the Dyson has got a better cable on it. I've the same type on my DC24,nice and chunky. My mum has an old Sebo X1 and it had a good...

ECO SEBO Range At John Lewis

No it's not correct. X1.1 has an 1100 watt motor as with the X4's!!

    My DC41 MK2. I must be mad!

That doesn't make sense. The cord doesn't get stuck on older Felix models. In fact its a better quality cable on the older Sebo machines. The hose maybe an additional welcome if it stretches a little bit more but I wish Sebo would change the hose positioning. With regards to washing out...

    My DC41 MK2. I must be mad!

I look forward to seeing the pictures of the Felix issues you have posted. I've not encountered the bag issue with the 8 year old Felix I had (which my friend now owns)and it still works perfectly despite her abusing it and using it with a full bag until the hose is full of dirt. My complaint...
