    Okay...let's see your DREYFUSS machines!

Well since we're talking a.) design and b.) trains, I ma Here she is, English Electric (yes, the washing machine people) Deltic, powered by an engine which was arranged in a sort of Triangle shape..nothing else on earth sounds like a Deltic lol. I know i'm sort of straying off topic, but can...

Never seen one of these before.

Well that's cuz back then Panasonic, and other countries made damn good products, powerful motors, INTELLIGENT designs and unbeatable build quality. Shark? Shark was the name of a rather aggressive fish.

    The Hoover of all Hoovers

Hoover Junior circa 1960 thru 1988 imo. It's easy to move about, and it has that Hoover brushroll.

    Once a seed is planted...

Shame more companies aren't like that. I wonder if TTI would have sent such a good reply?

Do they still sell Constellation filter pads?

Shame I didn't keep the filter out of my old Vax, different material but more or less the same size..

Do they still sell Constellation filter pads?

I thought they were permanant at first, due to what they're made out of. Of course I guess the Connie came out before artificial fibres became so widespread :P I'll check the hoover uk spares site, or failing that just keep washing it..gives it that nice "persil" aroma ;p

    Connie Disaster!

(and for the retro factor, the grease looked like it was from the early 1980s at the newest :P)

I looked on Vacuumworld when I was getting some bags and I couldn't see any, that's a damn shame. Ah well I've washed it at least.
