It's called the Emptor or Sani-Emptor You shouldn't have any trouble locating that part. I always hate seeing when people have changed older Kirbys to use paper bags, it cuts down on the air flow in addition to not looking right.

That's a very nice find!! It reminds me of when I found my 516 in a thrift shop, complete with all the attachments, boxes, paperwork, etc. the only things not original on it are the bag and cord. They match though so it not that big of a deal to me.

This was the other Dial-A-Matic ***Not my picture*** I still have the attachments that went with this one too. I just need a wand.

The Sanitaire Quiet Clean would definitely be a good choice! I've had mine for almost 2 years now and the only thing I've had to do to it literally is change the bag. It has seen ALOT of use too both in my house and other places. It's a very durable machine. It seems to filter air VERY well too...

Well... It's no Convertible or 60 Series, but it certainly looks better than anything Hoover produces today. I'd love to see this actually go into production.
