    Tristar/Compact Thread

It seems to me that one of my aunts used to have one of the green models. And do the vintage models actually perform better than the more recent models? And are the central vacuum powerheads (like the Sweep'n Groom and the ones from Wessel Werk and Lindhaus) really compatible with the...

I got a Filtropur! (Aeropur, FVS)

In what country is the Filtropur made? And are the 1 1/4 in. accessories compatible with this thing?

    Our new Bissell

Luxkid1980, it's up to my brother to decide if we keep or get rid of our Bissell. Lesinutah, thanks for your offer! Kirbyklekter, thanks for your advice! Peggydyer, I don't think our machine's made for wet spills,

    Our new Bissell

Hello everyone, I haven't been active in the Vacuumland website lately, but I would like to inform you all that at my home, we have a new cleaner. It's a bagless Bissell canister. My brother who lives with me ordered the item on Amazon and it was delivered to our home last week. We really lost...

    a new battery powered nozzle

Thank you for telling me this but did you test the nozzle on a Shop vac or any other wet/dry canister like a Ridgid or a Craftman?

    a new battery powered nozzle

Hey N0oxy, which of the canisters in your collection is the L-shaped cordless nozzle compatible with? Can we connect it to a Shop-vac wand?

Say, tell me if the L-shaped battery-powered nozzle is compatible with a Shop-Vac.

PN cord wiring for canisters with polarized plugs

Then one of the on/off switches on the control board would be useless and the user would have to return to the canister to turn the whole machine off. I would like it if the tank could be turned off with the push of a button on the control board latched to the hose handle. Some Kenmore canisters...

New old stock Bissell 3554B unboxing

It's such a shame that they stop making upright models from the 90's which may not be as great as the Kirby's but were also made in USA (or in Canada if there were some) and still of better quality than the current plasticrap models at Walmart.

Should Eureka Leave The Market Whilst Sanitaire Remains

What should be done is that the patents on the designs of old Eureka models should get expired. This would allow third-party companies to replicate the designs of such models and the replacement parts. A person should have the right to get a discontinued product for himself/herself if a company...

PN cord wiring for canisters with polarized plugs

Hello everybody! Back then, I posted an thread about upgrading a straight-suction canister to allow compatibility with a power nozzle and artworks related to the subject. This thread is going to be focused on the wiring in the canister and the electric nozzle cord. I haven't finished secondary...

    I bought an Avalir 2 :)

Tolivac, thank you for the information although it appears that you're uncertain if a 1 1/4 tool could be used with a Kirby. Thank you too, Sptyks, for the info. I can't be certain if a Miele C3 canister would remain operational 50 years from now but I'm reconsidering my opinion.

    I bought an Avalir 2 :)

The Avalir 2 does look beautiful. But i'd like to know if: -the Avalir 2's made in USA; -the 1 1/4 in. accessories of competing brands can get connected to the model's hose; -the model is better-made than a Miele C3 canister with the power-head modeled SEB 236 or a Simplicity Power Team...

    The Perfect Vacuum For Teenagers

I'm impressed with the performance of the cleaner in the video that Huskyvacs posted. By the way, should someone design a bare floor cleaning nozzle with a similar shape to the one in the video? If so, then would such attachment be better than most floor brushes on the market?

Price comparison between the Miele's and the Shop-vac's

Then Speedqueen, are there special bags for the Mighty Mite which let the user pick up drywall dust without problems? And Huskyvacs, if the Shop-vac attachments are of poor quality, then would a Shop-vac clean the kitchen floor better with certain accessories from Wessel Werk?
