Kirby Company sold to Right Lane Industries

Absolutely the modern customers are fueling all this. Everything is about convenience and fast results now. There could still be hope for these vacuums if they do what is necessary to make themselves known and relevant to the modern consumer. Kirby needs to make some design changes. Like others...

Kirby Company sold to Right Lane Industries

More depressing news. Little by little, year after year, the quality vacuums companies grow more distressed and closer to the Endangered Company List. Those of us who like quality vacuums that perform well are facing as seemingly bleak future.

    Aerus Lux Guardian Platinum

My issues with the Guardian Ultra was that it regurgitated a 30 year old body design. I don't mind the INSIDE of a machine staying the same (provided it is well engineered and sealed) but the OUTSIDE must move with the times to remain relevant. Even Kirby has updated the styling as much as they...

    Eureka?

Correction... Eureka WAS owned by Electrolux AB but is now owned by Midea of China.

    Eureka?

I'm not 100% sure about some of the details but I have read rumors that things are shaking up with the industry. For example, I believe Eureka is owned by Electrolux AB of Europe. Electrolux had their own vacuum line and introduced these models in the US when they purchased the rights to the...

    Aerus Lux Guardian Platinum

LOL... I absolutely DESPISE white vacuums. They look good for a while, but they eventually grow progressively uglier. Besides that, it's exactly like the last model. Just a different color and minor changes. No difference at all.

    Kenmore Intuition bagged

Quick question about these Cleva machines Has anyone ever done emissions testing on these?? How do they perform?

    Aerus Lux Guardian Platinum

Thanks for the clarification Aerus doesn't make these machines. They are brought over from Europe. I guess that means the new machine in white is coming. Sounds like another disappointment.

    Aerus Lux Guardian Platinum

@gabowenjr Totally discontinued??? Wow, that's quite a statement. Here's to hoping it's not another regressive machine like the Guardian Ultra was.

    Kenmore Intuition bagged

I actually do like that. The color is nice. At first I thought that was one of those that converts into a canister. Not sure it does though. I'm leaning toward the new Kenmore canisters as a matter of fact as they are the only ones now with the features I most want.

    Electrolux Olympia I Model 1401-B

Can you believe this guy?? New in the box 40 year old vacuum... never been used. How do you do it?? How can one person have such luck?? I demand to know your secret. I command it! LOL

    Parents new Rainbow

There were a lot of complaints on Vacuumland about the new SRX model. According to some, it doesn't have very good airflow. Many are critical of the new power nozzle also. It does have some innovations. The hinged top makes emptying the machine quicker and easier it would seem. It also...

Newer Lux Legacy not a sealed system

I'm hoping Aerus will discontinue these ancient designs and upgrade their machines. They need new sealed body molds and improved filters.

OMG... That food though... Best eating in the world. Can someone tell me what he is frosting in pic 15?? Is it a cake? What is the frosting?

Looks brand new Very nice restoration. Wish I could do that. I was gifted with neither patience nor mechanical ability.

Vacuum that pick up bowling ball?

Love the Lux slogans For the European company, "Nothing sucks like Electrolux!" was used for many years. In North America, it was "Touch no dirt! Breathe no dirt! See no dirt!" which they used for years. Love them both.

The brand new Titan lightweight upright

If you do a YouTube video demonstration... Please also demonstrate the filtration capabilities of both the upright and canister models.

The brand new Titan lightweight upright

Only one year?? It isn't a deal-breaker but I wish it were longer. I've been thinking strongly about these. They are one of the few makers still selling full-size canisters with the features I want, so they are still "in the cards" when I choose. I want to see what Aerus does in the future too...
