    "vintage vacuum armaid handheld style instructions RARE"

    Armaid I believe that Armaid was the house brand of Famous Barr. They made a really pretty cannister (Rick A. has one, I think), and I have a window fan of that brand. I'm not certain who produced them, the cannister looks at lot like a rotomatic.

    My Aunt had that model in avacado green (ugh). It was, indeed, a powerful vacuum. I loved it until she got the Challenger (very Brady looking) and retired the nice round one. LOL

    Mama and Pop were married in 1950. It snowed on their wedding day--in March! When I came along, they had a Lewyt that Mama used daily until it burned up in the late 70's. It's the vac that started it all...

    I'd pay $75 just for the hassock. Love them, and they are more rare than hen's teeth around here.
