I wonder if I can swap the belt lifter from the floor polisher to the nozzle head. So it's back to original.

Thanks for the info! I just miss the 6 blade sound. Did a bit of cleaning up today. Just a light polishing.

Wow I'm blown away. I have all the original documentation from 1952 purchase. A 1969 rebuild and the 87 rebuild. Hard to believe this was $287 in 1952!

    Hoover bag cleaner

What's something like this possibly worth? Never seen one go for sale. Honestly with my small collection don't have much functioning use for it. I'd keep it if only I had a house with more storage space. My room is fairly full with my vacuums, desk, computer, piano guitar and banjo. Living room...

Never thought to ask. Didn't have a tag on it

    Hoover bag cleaner

If I could find a place to store it I would pick it up and hold it for someone who might be interested

    Hoover bag cleaner

Haha I may some day. I live in a 3rd floor apartment pretty full of computers, audio equip and other stuff. Don't really have any room to ever store this nor much use for one.

    Hoover bag cleaner

Didn't have the means to transport it. A camaro doesn't have much trunk space. And it had to weigh at least 100 pounds with the base. I doubt it's going anywhere fast. Surely nobody walking in will have any clue what it is.

    Hoover bag cleaner

Caught sight of an old Hoover bag cleaner today at a thrift shop. Don't see these every day. Appears to be a model 750 motor unit.

    Hoover Elite 200

I miss my grandmas elite. Was the burgundy model with headlight, with white tools on the side and rear and silver hose coiled on tool caddy. Not sure what model it was.

    Vintage Hoover bag question.....

Always tightened them finger right. They are finished for that and pliers would mar the surface
