New to the collection, Montgomery Ward's Eureka model SP5067A

It looks somewhat like an updated version of a Eureka of similar design. I know that MW's was affiliated with Eureka so it wouldnt surprise me. Either way, a great find.

Please recommend me a vacuum for cockroaches

Shop vac definitely. Big hose, cheap, tough, and powerful. NO! No Filter Queen. I wouldnt want to take the risk of ruining it. Lloyd, I thought the same thing when I saw the topic lol

Yeah I got a Sanitaire for $2 three months ago and Im still working on it.... LOTS of things still need replacing on it, not to mention the major cleaning that tok nearly two whole days. Found out why it was so cheap!   Either way, its a nice find. Ive never seen an industial like that...

    Hoover Vs, Eureka

This is a really hard one. Since Ive never owned (or used haha) either of these, I really dont know. I would have to imagine they would have to clean just about the same.

    Kirby 505

I dont think whether its buffed or not adds to the value. Vacuums are a veeeery slim market. Not may people collect vacuums. Really, its whatever the person is willing to pay fo it, and thats the way it is with just about everything.
