For a textured design, I would go for the periwinkle/grey design, like on the Kirby G4 bag.

Seriously, somebody's gotta stop this guy!

That's just fanning the flames, Marshall. It is never appropriate to use the kind of language for one, and If you feel we should stop complaining in a thread that was last posted in in 2009, there's a much more subtle way to do it.

Yes! I prefer using my D50 over anything else. It's lighter and smaller and easier to maneuver.

Cheap cooking and heating device I made!

I guess it would be more for camping, but it puts out a good amount of heat, and brings two cups of water to a boil in around 10 minutes, so it's perfect for an emergency situation when our power and gas lines are down. Anyways, it's called a penny stove. It's made out of the bottoms of two pop...

    The bulk of my collection.

The red one with a plaid bag is a Kirby. Classic 3 to be exact. Everything original and all attachments too! The very last one, with the reddish brown bag, is a Hoover 825. Not the original bag for that machine, but at least it's an original Hoover bag.

I Knew It Wasn't All That Great But I Didn't Think It Would Do THAT Bad!

That's the thing I've found about dysons. They pick up well on the surface, and do well on hard floors, but when it comes to deep cleaning they are quite mediocre. Not the worst I've ever seen, but not too great.

Canadian and US Versions of Electrolux Vacuums

I've always been intrigued by foreign vacuums. I would really like to add a Canadian Lux to my collection, but I had a heck of a time even finding my ONE lux, so I doubt ill find one anytime soon. :) Sorry to get off topic.

    Kirby Classic III hose question

Another nope from me. Maybe if you modified it to fit the coupler, but otherwise a big noooo.

    Vintage Vacuum Saugling Model 4

Never heard of any vacuums from Serbia (or the entire Balkan area), let alone this! That's pretty cool, thank you for sharing! It has to be the most interesting thing I've seen all week.

    The bulk of my collection.

So I really, really wasn't sure what forum to put this in. I figured since most of my sweepers are "vintage" by the sites guidelines I would post if in here. Here goes. This is missing a few vacs. Mainly ones that were in the shop being repaired. These are the Sanitaire SC888, Oreck XL(I have...
