Lesinutah Not all modern dirt devils, but this new line is way different.

The verdict is in: SHOCKINGLY AWESOME

Lesinutah We can agree to disagree. This is based on experience with about 4 or 5 Shark vacuums since 2014-2015. Every Shark I had would start strong and then about a year or two in would noticeably drop off in power, and that's with frequent cleaning of the filters. It has hepa filtration and...

But this machine is like... If the older swivel glide vision bagless vacuums were alot more powerful.

The verdict is in: SHOCKINGLY AWESOME

wstonehockertv I was actually thinking if I came across MY FAVORITE Dirt Devil, the Swivel Glide MVP, I'm definitely picking it up. We had the plum colored one circa 2005 and it was awesome!

The verdict is in: SHOCKINGLY AWESOME

Huskyvacs Honestly genuinely shocked. 2010s Dirt Devils looked like the worst of the worst vacuums ever produced. Even stuff like the Endura/Powermax werent so well received. This is them going back to their roots with improvements made. And the design being so reminiscent of the old school gen...

The verdict is in: SHOCKINGLY AWESOME

Not to mention... The plastic I'd probably among the most durable and rugged feeling of any Dirt Devil I've ever owned. They're back on their feet with the Multi Surface line.

The verdict is in: SHOCKINGLY AWESOME

I saw this earlier this year and thought it looked like an OK vacuum. Reminiscent of old school Dirt Devil. This thing impressed me even more than I was expecting. Filtration despite not HEPA isn't bad at all, no sneezing fits like I've had with other brands. The suction and airflow is...

    Might get this for Christmas

panasonicvac A rebranded Oreck XL Classic Dirt Devil Featherlite. First off, how cool it would be to reintroduce the Featherlite name after the 2010s junk they put out. Secondly, a red featherlite with an Oreck platform would be INSANE to see. I'd love the bag to be a BRIGHT red though, not...

    Might get this for Christmas

Keep in mind.... I am by NO MEANS a proponent of most modern vacuums. Im sick of seeing all the same Shark and Dyson cyclone clones. I dont ever shop at the retailers anymore. BUT...this new line of Dirt Devils looks different from the rest. Screams a callback to the vacuums from the 2000s...

    Might get this for Christmas

Dirt Devil..... has always been known as the more budget friendly brand, but by no means did that make them terrible vacuums. Me and my family had several. We had a plum refurbed Swivel Glide bagged, a Dynamite Plus, a F1 Featherlite bagless, a few of the hand vacs like the classic, the ultra...

    Might get this for Christmas

I've seen very very good reviews on this Dirt Devil, and usually, I'm NEVER excited about new vacuums. They're usually all the same and build quality is insanely mixed. But this really harkens back to what Dirt Devil USED to be before they cheapened out tenfold in the 2010s. This has all the...

Which was the better Dirt Devil "compact"?

Just curious on your takes. What was better between the 05 Bagless Dynamite, and the 90s Bagged Broom Vac? They were both DD's cheaper apartment based vacuums so I'm kind of curious what your thoughts on these two are. I've had both in my life but at far separate time periods.

    Gotta ask before purchase......

I like collecting any type of vacuuum from my childhood and this is still new in the box. Would the Ni-Cad battery still work and how would I keep it steady if I use it as a daily stick vac for quick cleans.

    Forgotten Dirt Devil/Royal Products

Panasonicvac Yeah I initially thought the same. The Ultra is the companion to the ultra models the MVP and Swivel Glide. And the classic hand vacs companions are the Upright/Deluxe and the Broom Vac.with the latter literally being an upright of it.

When did Dirt Devil do this????

Apparently theres a rare Dirt Devil Lite thats tranlsucent blue and the video is up on YT. How many translucent models did DD make, or was this the only one?

And how about this.... A translucent Dirt Devil Lite? NEVER seen this before! Photo from Termite159 on YouTube.

    Forgotten Dirt Devil/Royal Products

Here's something truly forgotten This bag shows a Lite, a Lite Plus, a Classic, and an...Extra??? Now I know that upright was sold as the Plus and Upright Plus, but WHEN was it sold as an Extra?????

    Forgotten Dirt Devil/Royal Products

I always wondered...... If the Broom Vac is the upright version of the classic hand vac, what's the upright version of the Ultra Hand Vac?

    Forgotten Dirt Devil/Royal Products

We had..... A remanufactured Dirt Devil Swivel Glide in plum color. We bought it from Big Lots because we kept getting fed up with the hose popping out on the Hoover Fold Away. From what I remember for the year and a half we had it, we actually really liked it alot! The Velocity eventually...
