I have about 20 Vacuums. I may get a Windtunnel Twin Chamber and/or a Fold Away since I found those on Offerup for cheap. I may go for 32 vacuums when I’m older and have my own house..

Yeah, it’s definitely likely that they used cheap switches that would overheat due to the current.

An update… Got the turbine tool! I retr0brighted the top since it was yellowed. After some lube for the tool. It works great!

There was a thread on this from 2008, but there’s a possibility that some collectors still could have some defective Turbo Tools. Luckily, I don’t have one and my turbo tools have never exploded. Dirt Devil likely doesn’t offer repair kits anymore and the solution now is to get a replacement...

Your Windtunnel was made in November of 2001, a month after mine acording to the First Four Digits.
