(2007) Hoover Windtunnel Lite U5402-900 I have shown this on some of my Threads, but never made a full thread on it. So here. (2000’s) Shop Vac All Around QAL80 Got this to replace my Hang Up Shop Vac that had Motor Problems.

I would like one of these to put a Maytag Motor in it. Does anyone have one they could sell me for cheap (+Shipping)?

So, this is a Machine I haven’t made a thread on yet. I got it as a Christmas gift back in 2022 for my dog’s messes or spills. So far, it’s a very good unit. I do remember making a thread on the Steamvac JR and spot which are similar units. I haven’t tested this unit with my Steamvac’s Turbine...

The Place I can think of... The Hoover Historical Center Mueseum. From Pics, I've seen that they have Displays of Older Hoover Models there.

Just used it today and… It’s pretty decent. But it all boils down to your Machine and where the Hose goes into the Machine for Attachments and upholstery. With my Savvy, it worked very well thanks to the Hose placement on the Machine. My Self Propelled Windtunnel was more prone to tipping...

They also made one for the Twin Chamber Windtunnels as well.

So, I went to Goodwill today and I spotted this. It was cheap and my Windtunnel Models were compatible, so I got it and now I’m happy.

So. This dude did the Same, but with Much Nicer and Better Results.

So, this guy took the Motor of His Shop Vac and replaced the Clip with a M8 Nut. But, by the end of the Vid, the Shop Vac sounds like a siren. Is this even safe to do with a Shop Vac?

6 Years later… Got one back in 2022! Very great machine! It’s the Original Ultra from 2001!

So far it’s working great! Better than the original Brushroll.

All Restored! It cleaned up well. Also, the attachments cleaned up well as well. Also bought the Crevice tool and Eureka tool with it.

Hmm Interesting! Seen Parts bin Specials sometimes and didn’t know they did that with 501 Parts. Very interesting.

Here’s a Better look at the Vacuum. It definitely looks like a rare early 503.
