Electrolux Model E - parts help request

Motor is fine Norm, Once I go the motor out and dissconected the fans, I bench tested the motor. It runs beautifully, the motor is not the issue. The problem is the fans and the fan housings. I have no problem getting these motors out, and taking them apart, they were built to do this easyily...

Hi Everybody, The little old housebound couple that I volunteer food shop for because they can not get out anymore asked me if I could fix their vacuum. It was making a very horrible sound when switched on. I tore into the Model E and found that the inside of the housing was really rusted...

Vacuum abuse - the dirty Dyson

All Clean and running like new Here are a couple pics of the dyson all cleaned up. After working on this machine, I would never buy one. I can not believe how much crud built up in the cyclones. Granted, this machine was abused, I'm curious to see how much build up there would be in one used...

Vacuum abuse - the dirty Dyson

Hi Morgan, I did not open the motor housing, the motor sounds good and most of the dust looked like it got trapped by the pre-motor sponge filter because there was not that much on the fan housing on the other side of the filter. There was some dust and dirt on the dirty side of the Hepa...

Now I just have to order the filters, both were totally trashed, and put it back together. I just still can't get over this. I guess some people just do not care for their possesions at all. The owners manual and the online trouble shooter clealy go over how to clean out, and how to troubleshoot...

Quiet, powerful, high filtration upright commercial vac

I have sold a few of these Duralux from Sanitaire/Eureka and my customers really like them. They have two motors, a suction motor and brushroll motor. They have washable hepa filter and everything is sealed quite well. The bags are big and impregnated with Arm and Hammer baking soda to prevent...

    Central Head Mission........AGAIN

Heads and tails better than the rest... I have both the WW EBK and the Lindhaus 14" power heads for my central vac. The WW has it all over the Lindhaus. Believe Fred when he says "rips the dirt out of the carpet". The WW is very powerful and does an indredible job on the carpet. Whenever I...

    Perfect Canister - Pictures!

This machine rocks! Bimmer740, Wanted to get back and answer your question of, how does it work? I had a chance to vacuum level 2, about 2000 sq ft of carpet less the tile in the bathrooms, with the Perfect yesterday. It does a great job grooming the carpet and the powerhead has such a low...

    Perfect Canister - Pictures!

Hi Vernon, Looking at the specs it says it has a Ametek Advantek Motor. Being that everything else is a dead ringer for the lux, I would guess the fans are as well. Peeking thru the intake at the rear of the bag chamber, the nut looks just like on my siverado deluxe. I also had one of these...

    Perfect Canister - Pictures!

I ordered it from Essco, I have an account with them for my vacuum sales and service business. It is basically an exact duplicate of an Electrolux. I don't have a cfm meter or guage, but the airflow seems excellent.
