    Hoover 115 part/gasket needed

Can any of you Hoover experts (I mean that sincerely) guide me on a "gasket" that goes between the machine and the collar on the bag? And if it does not use a gasket, WHAT goes there? I have two of these machines now and both belch dust out the fitting at the bottom of the bag. I have rigged it...

    Hoover Quik-Broom

Enjoy! Human! Glad you are enjoying it. I have had several, but none that were as strong as that one. In fact, I am missing it right now for cleaning up the kitchen!!! I have a tan one that looks a lot more sophisticated (no insult intended) but the design is cleaner and the floor tool is much...

    Eureka Gold Crown

Suggestions for hose replacement? Thanks Guys!!! I appreciate all the information. I was born in '58 so it looks very familiar to me. Any suggestions on "re-hosing" (sic?) the hose? The machine end is plastic over the insert and this seems very delicate. Any help much appreciated.

    Eureka Gold Crown

Just thought I would share a pic of my newest vacuum. This was a gift from a friend in Nashville TN recently. Neither he or I knew of the significance of this model #906. Has all the attachments except for the rug tool. Hose is shot. Still trying to figure out how to get the old one to come off...

    Selling a few Vacuums

shipping I am quoting 40$ as it will go in two boxes. If it is anymore, I will absorb it. I just shipped a much heavier machine in two boxes and it was 48$ from the west of Georgia. Hope this helps.

    Selling a few Vacuums

Hi all! We are having some remodeling done at our house and I am losing some storage. I would like to offer several vacuum cleaners to Vacuumland readers first, in hopes they will find their forever home. If they are not sold, they will be donated to a local animal charity that rescues abused...

Rainbows from the 50s Pictures please

Model C common? I have seen several for sale lately, so I would say yes. This model is a 1950 I believe, so its life could have lasted into the sixties or seventies for a very thrifty and careful owner. It has good suction, great tools and does a good job. Adequate as someone recently told me...

    Vintage Westinghouse polisher NIB

Found this today in one of my haunts. I was there for an Airway 88 and the owner pulled out this "old floor cleaner" and wanted to know if I was interested. I NEVER find anything still in its original box! It has been assembled, possibly once, but shows no sign of wear or use other than a side...

    Filter Queen or Tristar???

IMHO…. IF you have carpet, especially plush, I would recommend the Tristar as a intact original unit. Its powerhead is GREAT!!. My FQ is a wonderful machine, but the powerhead is so soft it just skims the top of the carpet. However the suction is so strong on the tristar, the only way I can use...

    Sears/Whirlpool attachments

In need of sears tools I have been looking for a set of those for my early 60's kenmore two speed canister!!!! Are they for sale? 40 years ago, we had the same vac and the floor tool was metal with the hash marks on both ends. Love the design! Am having to use the generic gray modern ones now...
