    HOPELESS ACCESSORIES/TOOLS

I think Dyson tools are pretty good, they have one of the best dusting brushes in the market, and that brilliant flexible crevice (very handy for cleaning under fridges). May be optional, but at least Dyson offers the user a choice, who was it who showed the cacky tool that comes with new vax...

    Meet my new Dyson

The cleaning arsenal! I added a few bits to it from the spares box, dysolv, flexi crevice, extra battery and charger. I also happened to find the dc35 animal motor body in there, the one that should have been there! No quibbles I guess, it hasn't been used, so like new! There's also the...

    Meet my new Dyson

Floor head again, but underneath. All the pads and the plastic strip are in tact. There's the carbon fibre bristles in all their glory!

    Meet my new Dyson

Floor head, this one isn't the one that came with it, I swapped it for another in the Dyson spares bin. It's practically like new

    Meet my new Dyson

Hmm pink! Not my choice of colour, but can't really complain. It's shiny and clean! The bin looks dull but it is ex demo, so to be expected

    Meet my new Dyson

Here we are, my latest acquisition! The Dyson DC35 animal. Was on clearance for £130 plus staff discount. Being an ex demo, I cleaned it all up, the filter wasn't too bad, but the cyclone was full of cack, I could tell by the state of the water! Works amazingly well

    Dyson DC01

Yes it has a square yellow volex plug. It has the rubber sheaf on the cable and the screw/washer as you mention.

    Dyson DC01

Are you sure citroen? It was my late grandparents, I used to see them every weekend and clean up for them! I wasn't that young at the time, maybe around 8 or 9, they eventually bought a electrolux Powerlite as it was getting heavy for them. I don't think James ever went into service for...

    Dyson DC01

Such good condition for the age. All original tools and labels. Few scuffs here and there, but nothing major, suction is as strong as new

    Dyson DC01

After reading a few threads on here and general googling, I am rather confused. Our DC01 has fins on the lower cyclone, yet there are so many without them. A few on Google also show the cyclone with fins,(think DC04). Im just wondering why some have it and some don't, I don't think it's a...

NEW Vax Pro Cleaning Kit (Type 2)

    Vax demonstrator = nightmare

Well, I mentioned this a while ago on another thread, my day at uni has changed and I do Saturdays once again. The week before last, I was talking to our Dyson demonstrator, a decent chap, and over the past few months we've became pals. He was asking me why I haven't been in, his partner in...

    VDTA 2014

I love the look of those new electrolux cylinders! The colour is lovely! Is it just me or does that generic vacuum aka hoover hushtone have a ring of Numatic about it?

    Which Vacuums Feb 2014 UK

Now now fellas, let's not get hasty. Hi lo, the ultraone is made along with other 'premium' electrolux machines ie ultracaptic, ultraperformer and ultrapower in their Hungarian factory. They're really not bad. Unlike the V word, don't get me started. I see so many of them come back faulty...

    Dyson Hard

I'm thinking of getting the hard for our laminate and tile floors, ie two bathrooms, one bedroom and one kitchen. Especially the kitchen gets crumbs all over, so the cordless functionality is a plus. Does anyone know if the Hard will accept a motorised head, such as from the DC44?
