Miele scout rx1, heard of It?

From a video I've seen, it says made in Korea on the data. One can assume it perhaps comes from the LG or Samsung stable. Perhaps Samsung, as it does look strikingly like the navibot.

    Shark

Well I am amazed after a demo today, knock me down with a bag of balls, but I was pleasantly surprised by Vax. I detest bagless in general and dislike vax, but by God, their Air3 Max Pet is great at cleaning! I did the sand demo with a Dc41, an aeg precision and the Vax. As I expected, the...

    Shark

Just been looking at our website to see this new machine, a shark of all things. Interesting, must be our first of the new eco vacs, 700w motor. Love the colour. What's the lowdown, yay or nay...

James Dyson: "The EU should spur invention, not mediocrity"

Yes dysonboy, I have aspergers, so I am pretty much similar to you. Its always nice meeting a fellow aspie! Ever since Dyson, I was in the same thought as you are now, I too idolised James, as like him I managed to overcome odds, but after one too many disappoints with Dyson now, they have lost...

James Dyson: "The EU should spur invention, not mediocrity"

Yes I am annoyed, and you would be if you were in my shoes, its a long story, but in essence building someone up to knock them down, especially a life long dream. My last contact from them was that even if I did an engineering degree, there would be no guarantee. I said ok, what if I work on...

James Dyson: "The EU should spur invention, not mediocrity"

You seem to be forgetting dysonboy, that suction alone does not clean carpets. Again this seems to be false advertising. Simply saying it has twice the suction, does not mean it cleans better, as we know, agitation is key. This is the hype dyson uses to con people in to an overpriced...

James Dyson: "The EU should spur invention, not mediocrity"

Ok, not two but a handful then as seen in this diagram: http://www.dyson.co.uk/twicethesuction/dc41.aspx Consumer reports: A DC41 is equally as bad at cleaning carpets as a Eureka http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2012/07/our-vacuum-tests-show-that-some-claims-need-deflating/index.htm...

James Dyson: "The EU should spur invention, not mediocrity"

Yes Dysonboy that is what I am saying. It is a long story but it is out of principle. Dyson are nothing but cheats and liars. I can't remember where I found out, but the DC41 claim of being the most powerful upright is a claim based on that machine along with two, yes TWO cheap bag less...

James Dyson: "The EU should spur invention, not mediocrity"

Well here is a surprise, James whining on like a little crybaby. (Oh my heart bleeds, I'll just get out my violin) I was a fan of him and Dyson, until for no good explainable reason they turned down my application to work for them. Apparently I did not show enough skill in engineering on the CV...

    WHY DO THEY NEVER LISTEN?!

pardon me to add my twopenneth 'I was trying to explain to her what would be ideal and a dyson "stick vac" would not be ideal for someone who has a child and husband to clean up after and as her ONLY vacuum cleaner, what about when it runs out after 12 minutes? Hmmm? She will have carry on...

    New Ergorapidos

My day back at work, and I had new stock waiting for me! Specifically the new AEG ergorapidos. We have two versions at the moment, the AG3005 in antique steel at 14.4 volts and the AG3011 in chocolate brown which is 18 volts and has the lithium battery. Apart from that its mainly cosmetic...

    Thane X5 Vac

It looks laughable. It comes nowhere near a Dyson cordless. It really does look so cheap and tacky.

New purchase VAX Mach Air Reach

'agreed the Dysons are horrid with their cheap-feeling, bendy plastic parts. She really disliked how much the Dyson felt like a toy.' Interesting, considering that Vax have the lowest reliability on the market, (I often see them returned)the fact they constantly receive negative reviews and low...

Is the universe telling me to stop buying vacuum cleaners?

Don't talk to me about the dual power.. It's an awful machine. I had the awful opportunity of putting one out on display. Not so much of a problem seeing as it's my department, but I have never came across such a heap of junk. There's a screw that has to go through the handle, but after...

    Vax air powerhead

Nope I wouldn't pay anything for it, mainly because I have an aversion for vax, I think they are cheap and nasty. I agree, you could have got a Henry or a miele s2. At least they'll last longer than a month with nothing inevitably breaking off!

Is it worth trading in a Vacuum to get £xx amount off a Dyson?

Anyway... back to topic. HiLo, you could perhaps go to your local store, they will no doubt let you have a try out with it. If I remember correctly there isn't much price difference with the multi floor and animal, so the animal exclusive would make more sense with the extra tools. By the way...

    Best vacuum tools?

Yes Steve, we know you don't like Dyson, but you don't need to keep reminding the rest of us that do, in every thread

    Best vacuum tools?

I agree, I would add the tangle free which imho is brilliant

    Our new brochure

I think we still do the S7 but it is few and far between, theres also the pure power. I'm surprised to see there is no AEG in the brochure. Obviously its not the full range, but I thought at least a couple of their things may have been in there
