TTI it is...i serviced some of the areus like that one and we have the comm. royal of it in showroom...talked to supplier and was told all are the same....just diff color -name. thats all....but turned out to be quite the oreck killer...4.2 amps/full size fan... but dont know why the hoover...

thats whats odd guys...the convertible has the f/g setup...5amp runabout 7.2 amp A bag...i tested each against a conquest..dial matic...and saw no real diff... what is it that makes an elite better?

out of curiousity...what is it about the runabouts[u5064-930] and convertble[u4119] that make them somewhat less popular..the performance seems to be on par w the competition ..yet arent considered a power house..deep claener. what were the downsides of these 2 units....at the shop im limited to...

does anybody know what other bags will replace a hoover type A AND....do you think we all could use our knowledge of bag types to make or create a cross ref. guide. an alternative to what we need or cant find....and post it. we can then write it down and hang on wall as a goto guide...i have...

as much as i dislike cans.....i have to agree with the guys, thing looks mint from what i can see. i say jump on it. im sure a slightly worn twin fan will come soon..but a can like that one....hmmmm may be a while...can all the way asap & good luck.

thanks for the info.. i too would think the vg1 would be an agressive deep cleaner...more than the vg2. but some swear by the vg2 and its beater bars. my 684sc has the vg2..so ive yet to buy or run across a vg1 at a decent price so i can test.hate to buy and find out what i had was better.but...

yes they are...at the shop i try to avoid them and repair another...my hands dont fit too well...always cut them up. never fails...the deep breath thing doesnt work for me either..but sounds good.

hmmmm i say.. breath deep and take your mind to that peaceful place where all vacuums are all shiny and pretty..and work like new, if that dont work..chuck it. or keep it as your loaner.

hahaha i agree with you 100%...i say the riccar should keep mom happy for a spell...she;ll hear better thats for sure...and yes shell be amazed at what was left after the oreck.

lux1521 your the best..thanks. i looked all over ebay...but not in the correct places...99cents...i paid a $1.60...so id say i by far got the best end of deal...has good suction for a tiny 2.2 amps....gonna use it to clean out vac and car...but if motor goes out i have a small 750watt upper mtr...

that lux is a nice looking vac and at only 130aw...what a waste...i was expecting more from the lux name.

bagintheback really', its a great machine overall, very durable and really good suction...great b-roll...bags are ez to get .. panasonic u bag works fine also.not a performer like a sanitaire sc684..dont see anything that is...or the suction power of a kirby.....i do love a riccar...but i also...
