    LUCKY no kidding....i cant find crap....i work in a vac shop and all i run across are the nasty never been cleaned up/out pet vacs....ill even dumpster dive..and nothing. guess hes got some of that lucky mojo.

    got to open up motor case.take out screws .look for stuff that looks burnt. did you take off the brushroll hood..to see where or if the belt is rubbing? or melted plastic near belt. i dont advise the use of it till u track and solve the prob....turn on for testing. run motor with cover off,try...

    good airflow for its size/short air inlet. that and the high speed roller ,all 3 workg together produces a really good job on comm or low pile..but soft bristles keep it from being a deep cleaner...med pile shows its weekness. great on b-floors tiny fan...but it seems to work.

    check for any scorched wires at motor..then to switch and light..had sim problem with a bravo a few yrs back..but it was too far gone to save.

    gotta agree with you on the noise...orecks are screamers. hoover looks nice and much easier to take apart and clean/wash out than most other b-less .far more agressive broll....so better on med to high carpet. low noise or less noise a plus.do your filters clog easy...still new looking...if you...

    wow..thats odd. for a little more you get a rsl3. didnt know they had a lesser model of the rsl3.are the specs the same on the motors..im assuming the broll is cheaper kind?no light.

    gotta say its a great vac..comm/low pile that is.kind of a screamer tho. thought i read somewhere that tey now offered a more agressive broll. like on the elektrapure version.

    i meant that the housing isnt fully enclosed...the roller has a screw for each end..that gets screwed into thru the housing.
