While I was at the Vacuum Museum in St. James, I bought a very nice Electrolux XXX with no hose and no attachments. I found soneone at the Convention selling a few of them, but I'm still missing an original hose, a tool caddy, (the one I have is broken), a crevice tool, and a good dusting brush...

The Vacuum Museum Was awesome! Seeing all those machines restored and on display was a real treat. The people at the Tacony factory were very gracious to us. They let us take all sorts of pictures during the factory tour, something I never would have expected. Tom's museum overflow was amazing...

Tacony factory Does anyone know the address to the Tacony factory? We're almost to St. Louis and going to get a motel for the night and get up early tomorrow morning.

Back in the old car I got all the luggage and all my vacuums loaded, and at the eleventh hour, I found out that the suspension was shot. The rear tires were scraping the wheel wells! Even with all my vacs unloaded, it still happened!

Leaving tomorrow at 4:00! The check engine light in the new car is on already and we haven't even started traveling yet! LOL! I'll have to put some black tape over that.

I just can't wait!!! We got a different car this year, so hopefully we will not break down like last year. I would walk to the convention before I miss it!

This vacuum... Is EXTREMELY powerful! It even kicked the pants off my 7 amp Sanitaire! It made my Kirbys look cute. Holy moly! It just about sucks my carpet off the subfloor. I like the height adjustment on this too. It's completely variable.

I got this Royal today at the Goodwill for $10. It came with 2 brand new belts and I just happen to find a Royal type B bag. Somebody used it without a bag and the outer bag was filled up with crap. I vacuumed it out asbestos I could. I know this model was made 1995-2004, but if somebody could...

The handle on this needs some work. It hardly stays upright, and you have to pick it up to move it because the handle release mech doesn't work. Any idea where I can get a proper 28 handle?

I got this at a thrift today for $6.99, cleaned it up, and it works like a charm. My heart skipped a beat when I spotted it, this thrift store usually doesn't have very good vacuum stuff, but they have been getting more. For all of you in the VCCC, you will probably be seeing this in St. Louis...
