    Crappy Eureka Gets Smashed

Lighten up Seriously? They are vacuums, not friends or relatives. It was junk, get a grip. It's nobody's business what anyone does with their vacuums.

    Kirby Classic III

Don't throw it out... If you don't want it, would you mind rolling it up and tossing it in a little box, and mailing it to me? It should fit in one of those 4-$5 priority mail boxes. I will reimburse you through PayPal for the cost to mail it. If you're willing, I'll give you my address.

    Kirby Classic III

Nice! What are you doing with the old bag? I'm looking for an original bag like that. I know it's probably dirty, but that's ok. As long as it isn't torn or anything. I'm looking for one like this, made from the softer, wool like material. Let me know if you have it, and want to part with it.

    Well, I’m tickled pink……..

Nice... Nice marquis, and le. Cool that you got a matching set. As for those two plastic models, if you swap the switches, they will match. The switch is a darker blue than the blue vac, but it'll still look ok.

    Vacuums for sale

By the way... I would also be willing to do some trading for parts I need for other machines. I need a hose and wands for my e2 black rainbow, and I also need a good motor for my one speed e series.

RETRO 1962 HOOVER DIAL A MATIC

'62? I thought the dam came out in '63? Doesn't matter, that's just what I always thought.

Electrikbroom novice, I need your impute.

I remember I remember those very well. They weren't from Regina. I don't remember who made them. They had a few different models, with different features. The front of some of them had sort of a cloth cover from what I remember. Kind of the way a speaker has that black cloth/screen over it. I...

    What is my birth kirby?

I never thought much about it. I'm a classic III. That's actually my favorite vintage Kirby anyway, because it's the one my grandmother had when I was growing up. That one, and the green 1975 seats best she had, were the start of my fascination with vacuums. That's all I ever played with when I...

    Electrolux Corporation Catalog of Copyrights

Model e Actually, I thought it was pretty common knowledge that the model e came out in '54. There are even magazine ads from' 54 for the model e. Just because it was pointed out, doesn't mean it was meant to undermine anyone else's expertise, or to be rude, or disrespectful. Good grief, get a...

    Electrolux Canada Canister Attachments?

No, they are not. Electrolux may have packaged these tools with some of their rebuilt cleaners, to save money, or some other reason, but they are not genuine Electrolux tools. They are fit all/aftermarket tools that were used by many companies, and still are. I don't know why lux would've used...

    westinghouse t-4

A fun side note.... This is the model of Westinghouse tank used on the famous I love Lucy episode called, "sales resistance". It doesn't help it to be worth any more, but it's an interesting little bit of trivia.

    Want to donate some vacuums

Straying off topic Isn't that big a deal, and it certainly didn't stray "too far" off topic, if at all. This is not Russia, and you can't control everything everyone will say in a thread, or conversation nor should you wish to. Good grief... Lighten up, and don't tell people what to discuss...

    Want to donate some vacuums

I wouldn't bother posting About it next time. Sorry to sound hateful, but the unnecessary rudeness, MORE THAN ONCE to people on here is astounding. This site is for vacuum cleaner enthusiasts, so it's pretty normal that you might get asked about a machine. I don't know what your glitch is but...

    Electrolux Corporation Catalog of Copyrights

Two speed polisher? I don't remember ever seeing, or hearing of any of the triple brush polishers being two speed. I've used them from every decade as far as I know. The earliest one I ever used was from before the shampoo tank was standard, and I think it had a T shaped handle. All I've ever...

WANTED - Vintage Eureka Canister Vacuums

Interesting That top bumper seems a little redundant, considering that the circumference of the machine is larger around the middle, which would cause the regular, center bumper to hit any furniture, or walls first. Either way, it's very interesting looking. I've certainly never seen one.

    Whirlpool V150!!

I don't know, but... That hose certainly doesn't look like it goes with it. All the ones I've ever seen from that Era had regular vinyl hoses. That looks like an old filter queen hose or something. Nice cleaner though.

Identification of a vintage canister model unknown brand

Autocorrect.... That was supposed to say THEY made...... Not money made.
