    Robotic Vacuum Cleaners...

Your views please, thinking of getting one for the kitchen. Theres the iRobot Roomba & the Samsung Navibot that seem good contenders. Main offput is the price! Only want it to clean the crumbs and cat litter off my wooden floors!

    Selling my Kirby Sentria

baglessball I would consider it if the price was right. Its hardly been used and I upgraded the brushroll and also it takes the new style bags as I had a fill tube imported over from America.

On this post http://www.vacuumland.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?13200_37 someone has said that it is because of the size of the fan opening that the bits bounce of the fan and back out. I also use the wooden pellet cat litter much better for odours too. I just find though when you get bits...

    Kirby suction fans

I guess Eureka say its a feature of the vacuum that it will spit out anything to large to suck up but what is actually happening is it is hitting the blades and coming back out. Has the size of the opening changed much on models through the years?

Hoover Turbopower Junior U1222 Electric Board Special

Fantastic look at the pictures. The turbopowers are great vacuums and clean really well. I was just about to add that I have a brand new motor for the turbopower at home in the cupboard. It was bought when I did a few up but was never needed. I dont have them any more so its surplus to...

I need to develop something that reduces the opening to the fan so the blades are not as exposed.

    Kirby suction fans

Reason I ask is the straight blades of the clear lexan fan in the vacuum seem to bounce small bits of grit and small stones back off it and then it spits them back out, a bit like the hoover juniors used to do... I was thinking the curved blades which are shaped more like the kirby fan would be...

IS it this one your using a metal fan in? I want to get a curved bladed fan for my Sanitaire. It has the plastic straight blade version in at the moment and I find this makes it spit things out. Does anyone know where I can get one with curved blades from that are more like the kirby blades?
