Yes I've owned three! A heritage, a g5 & a sentria. All great vacuums but I have minimal carpet in my new house so too big and not practical. I have rugs and landing carpet but rest is wooden floors. I don't like cylinders with all the hose they are a pain to store.

And why isn't it suitable for hard floors when that's what they sell it as?

Yeah I hope they are good on picking up cat litter from hard wood flooring and don't just push it around the floor so I have to tilt the vacuum to get it to go over the top of it.

I am happy with the DC07 but I am thinking of getting rid of the DC01 as it just blows dust around you end up chasing across the floor. So I am thinking of getting a sebo for downstairs and move the dc07 upstairs.

I'm thinking of getting a sebo but not sure whether to get a x1 or an x4/x5 now as the motor wattages are the same.

Hey all Can someone tell me which website in the uk was selling vacuums that were identical looking to the Sanitaire Dirty Air vacuums sold in the US? They were rebadged as something else though. I've tried searching but to no avail. Thank you.

Seems to do fine on my wooden floors, I put some grease on the bearings of it and is quieter now :) Only problem I had was one of the screw holes for the casing cracked and split yesterday. Still another 4 holding it together though.
