Was the... Build quality the same on both machines? I know that the Wildcat is very flimsy, but I figured that Westinghouse might have improved slightly with the unplugged due to it being released later.

Well.. If you go to their website and scroll down to the "features" category, you will see that they have a Eureka marked as a Bissell, and a Bissell marked as a Shark. Other than that I know nothing about the vacuum but just how poorly they are trying to advertise it.

Taking a look on web archive... Fantom apparently really had some business going on with Westinghouse, since they even advertised the vacuums on their own website. Thats really strange... I thought Euro-Pro took over Fantom shortly after they went out of business.

Exactly But I was wondering, since the Wildcat had extremely poor build quality (handles breaking off, etc.), was the Unplugged any better in its build quality or was it near identical?

Actually.. The Westinghouse Wired was a slightly different version of the Fantom Fury, and the Cyclone XT was the Westinghouse Wired Deluxe. The unplugged was something completely different.
