Those bagged windtunnels are pretty good machines they move alot of air for a bypass upright you got a nice one like the blue the bagless one looks good to. I have had bad luck with the hose system on the original bagless windtunnel . Good finds

@ Ryan my uncle had this style of elite when i was a kid and i never thought i would see one again. i freaked out when i seen it at the vac shop. when i grabbed it he said i some how knew you would end up with it lol. glad i could bring back a good vac memory for you. i see red encore ones...

i have wanted and original elite for a very long time and i could not be happier this machine is packed with suction and is quite quiet compared to its newer brothers and sisters the serial number says that i was manufactured in October 1989 this vacuum is the same age as me and works great

it is a very pretty machine how ever like stated they thew just a new bag on the thing. if kirby wanted to wow for the 100th anniversary they should have brought back the DS 80 and DS 50 style machines i would love that or the heritage. or perhaps a new style all thogether

that is a very rare vacuum. looks like a fantom a dial a matic and a oreck put together. i have one but it needs a new hose

and allow eureka to retort not as great as the elite but still good and equally as part of vacuum history an very much better then today's machines.
