Mark, Kirby can rebuild almost all of their machines and make them look like new. They don't however have parts, bags and trim in original colors any more for some of the early machines. But the main parts of the machines they still can completely rebuild and replace all parts. (not sure...

Actually, I love using either machines. I have a several Royals and Kirby's in my collection and enjoy using them all.

Thomas, The Tradition was sold with either the paper bag option or the shake out option. ( think they did that up thru the Heritage Series. Personally, I would keep the paper bag version, much easier to care for and it really doesn't affect the air flow. (unless of course the bag is full)...
