    Simplicity S5

I love it so much! We just got them in to our store and I have been in love with it! It is so small but really powerful! Lots of people have tried it. I wonder how much they are at other stores because we sell ours for $89.95 and it’s on simplicity’s website for $139.99. I’m definitely planning...

Since when Brother made vacuum cleaners

We still have a bunch of those new in the box at my store. We have one out on the floor and I have sold a few of them and serviced a few as well. They’re really not that reliable and they clean ok. They aren’t real loud either. They have a foam pre-motor filter that tends to desegregate and get...

I miss "real" vacuum departments at stores!

I completely agree I miss my Sears so so much because when I couldn’t go to my actual vacuum store, it was the next best thing. They knew me well and were fond of me and always let me try the latest models out.

A 4K look inside Miele's flagship product of the mid 2000s

I have a silver Capricorn just like this. I have a Leo as well. I really love the S5’s

    Neato XV-21 issues

Neatos do clean really well. I would say they are the most (if not close to the most) powerful robot vacuum. However, the only flaw is the electronics are extremely complex. Neatos are much like German cars, they’re absolutely wonderful... when they work. But when things go downhill, they’re a...

    Sanitaire PowerForce

I literally noticed yesterday just how much rebadging Tacony has done on their Simplicity Freedom/Riccar Supralite models. Especially the cordless one.

How to put on an Oreck lifetime belt

Honestly if I could put Oreck back to the way they were 10 years ago I would. I really miss the days when David Oreck was ruling things. They may not have been everyone’s favorite vac but at least there were over 300 Oreck stores nationwide that stood behind that specific brand. They were also...

How to put on an Oreck lifetime belt

Thank you guys so much for your help. I ended up just stretching the roller into place with the belt on it. I don’t like doing that because it can warp the housing but I didn’t want to heat it up unless I absolutely had to. This machine wasn’t abused, I actually work at a vac&sew store and it...

How to put on an Oreck lifetime belt

Hi, I’m having great difficulty putting a lifetime belt onto a forever gold Oreck. I didn’t know if anyone has felt with these synthetic belts and had a technique to put them on. They’re so good at being stretch proof that I can’t stretch it from the brush to the motor shaft. Please help! Thanks.

    Sebo G4 and G5

Yeah they’re basically the same. Just like the X4/X5 are the same as the X7/X8 aside from styling and some cosmetic/mechanical changes like the foot pedal, post motor filter, and headlight on the premiums.

    Sebo G4 and G5

I may have the wrong numbers for them but a couple of weeks ago my vacuum shop got an email from Sebo about the old essential G’s being discontinued because new ones are coming out.

    Sebo G4 and G5

The Sebo Essential G1 and G2 are being discontinued and replaced by the G4 and G5. Just wanted to let you guys know if you didn’t know already.

My first Robot Vacuum- how was yours?

My first robot vacuum was an iRobot Roomba 440. I then had a Roomba 530, and after that a Neato Robotics XV Signature Pro. Currently I use a Roomba 790 on one side of the house, and a 801 on the other side (though it sees little use). The 790 has gotten daily use for the past 3 years. No major...

    Oreck Intake seal

I’m not taking it to the dealer. They want me to trade it in so bad that they offered me $100 for it. I’m still unsure about if I should use the synthetic belt or not, some people say do some people say don’t. I just want a belt that doesn’t stretch which should give the vacuum way more torque...

    Oreck Intake seal

That’s weird Thank you guys so much for the info. I’m not really sure why the Oreck store isn’t able to get them but I will be getting some.
