Ridgidwd0670, The vinyl hose is not a model G hose. I had a 2nd woven hose for the '89 but it leaked like a sieve so I removed the canister end coupling with the pigtail. I bought the vinyl hose on Ebay. It had a connector fitting for the plastic body lux's like the AP100, AP200, AP280, etc...

Yes the 2nd set of wands is great since the power nozzle was not direct connect and it would be a pain to always be connecting/disconnecting the power cord in order to use the wands. Gary

Billy, Kyle assures me that the unit running warm is not a problem so I will take his word for it. One of the advantages is it will help with the heating of the house in the winter...not so great in the summer heat though LOL It runs quieter with the filter in place so I wouldn't want to not...

They only make 2 models...the one I got with the electronic display and the base model without the display. They offer a choice of the ET-1 powerhead or the Wessel Werk. Price is as for most door to door sales however great deals are to be found :-) Gary
