I use the electric mini nozzle that came with the Patriot. It is Patriot's version of the Wessel Werk HEB160. I also have the electric mini nozzle for the Guardian Platinum but I find the Wessel Werk is better and also quieter. Gary

I don't know how the end comes off the cloth hose (maybe it twists?) but on that vinyl hose the metal sleeve comes off (with a lot of prying) and if I remember correctly the plastic separates into 2 parts to expose the wiring.

It is possible with some work :-) I remember seeing a post on here that gave the details on how to do it. I'll have to look in the archives to see if I can find it. Basically the collar where the hose end goes into the connector is removed so that the hose can be separated from the connector...
