    Some kids get it.

When I went with my mom to visit her friends, I always checked the closets to see what kind of vacuum they had. My mom was the only one that had a Filter Queen, a couple had Electrolux and 4 of them had the Rainbow Model D. All had canisters...no one had an upright.

Miele Triflex Cat & Dog Unboxing

Brian, No there is no hose available. Luxlife, Hepa filtration is on the Cat & Dog model (the one I purchased) and the HX1 Pro (top of the line) but it is not on the lower end base model. The base model also does not have a headlight on the power brush and the brush roll speed does not...

Miele Triflex Cat & Dog Unboxing

I am not a big fan of cordless either but it is handy when just wanting to do a quick vacuum of the kitchen floor or front entrance, etc. So far I am impressed with it. I like that it has the headlight and that when using speed 2 or 3, the brushroll will automatically slow down when going from...

Miele Triflex Cat & Dog Unboxing

Maybe I will in the future but at the time I was fed up with Dyson and wanted to try something new and hopefully better....which so far the Triflex far exceeds the Dyson. Gary

Miele Triflex Cat & Dog Unboxing

I have a Dyson stick vac which I bought re-furbished direct from Dyson about 10 years ago. It has worked well until recently when the battery dies after just a few minutes. I contacted Dyson only to find out that they no longer make a battery for the model I have. WTF? A perfectly good stick...

    Something interesting I dug up

My mom bought another FQ in the early 70s. It was a brownie model but the optional power nozzle and hose was in the salmon colour. Very strange to have the different colour combination. Gary

    What's your favorite Rainbow

My favourite is the model D. I love the 'Chromedome' and 'R2D2 nicknames. The vacuum just looks cool! When I was in my teens, 4 of my mom's friends had them. I got one on Ebay about 13 years ago. It is in like new condition....the plastic handle top is not cracked as so many are nor is any...
