    The perfect perfectly delightful email.

Does she remember whose yard sale it was? That should cut my time down to 5 minutes.

    The perfect perfectly delightful email.

Hmmm, Harriston you say? Born and raised here. Shouldn't be too hard to find out about this woman, or vacuum for that matter. I would just have to check old phone books, tombstones or the local loud mouth gossip. Give me about ten minutes, I'll have the whole story.

A whole car in 10 mins?!

Nice video. As much as I like to vacuum in the house, cleaning the car is a zero on a scale of one to ten.

    PLANS FOR STAN KANN'S VACUUMS

I like the vacuums on the black shelves against the grey wall, they look like they are floating in the air. Question. In the first pic of the grey wall photo, there is an old pump vacuum, green with a red handle. How valuble are these? I saw one identical last weekend for $100.00. Is that resonable?

    Saved a Lux

Saved a Lux. Got to love a vacuum that lights up and tells you what to do! Just took the Lux out on her maiden voyage vacuum. Wow this thing SUCKS!, in a good way. The suction is a lot better than the Ambassador's, its hose is done. I'm just as giddy as a widow with this vacuum! Off to do the...

    Saved a Lux

So the door will pop open on this machine? Very Cool!!! Can't wait.

    Saved a Lux

One more question. When the machine is on, should the blower port door be open or closed?

    Saved a Lux

Saved a Lux. The only tools it came with were the floor tool and two pipes. The power head I have from the Ambassador. The blue and yellow look quite nice. Thanks to Dave in Stratford, I have the dusting brush to ride on top. I can't believe how heavy this machine is. It weighs 20 pounds, the...

    Saved a Lux

Saved a Lux. After a good scrub and polish. This must have been something coming new out of the box. I love the colour, this is my new favourite vacuum.

    Saved a Lux

I was painting at a new house on Monday and just as the owner was leaving for work she said, "If you want to use that old vacuum to clean up saw dust you can, if its in your way, throw it in the dumpster cause thats where its going, the suction is terrible". I threw it out, right into the trunk...

    Yard Sale Bargain.

Yard Sale Bargain. And I know what a dog can do.

    Yard Sale Bargain.

Yard Sale Bargain. It is missing the attachments, not really a big deal. The last owner got pretty creative at closing off the hose. I figure the $10.00 is a deal since they through in the pliers. The last owner's dog chewed off the end where the tools fit on.

    Yard Sale Bargain.

I usually rent The Rug Doctor twice a year. I was going past a yard sale and saw this vacuum. The price on it was $20.00. I offered $10.00, which was pretty low, they said, sure. I was hoping it was the one with the rotating brushes, but it isn't, still, it works great.

    Paging Ms Elphaba Sunbeam...

Anyone that gets sun burnt, lavender oil works great. Three or four drops in the tub, give it a swish and dive in. Softens your skin, gets rid of the pain and tightness and you won't peel. You will sleep like a log too. You can also throw a few drops in the rinse cycle for nice smelling sheets...

    Paging Ms Elphaba Sunbeam...

Oh Dave. All these years I have tried to remember what vacuum my next door neighbour had and thats it! Mrs Davidson's was light blue. It would hang flat on the back of the laundry room door. Wow, it has a huge bag for the size of the machine. If I remember correctly, it was fairly quiet.

How much is a Miracle Mate worth?

I was at an auction last night and just reconized the body of the machine as a compact and not the powerhead. I wasn't sure the two went together. It was cream colour body and had the see thru attachments with the speckles. The vacuum sold for $80.00. It was owned by an old lady and had little...

I love those lights. I could just see them lighting the way to a pool.

I got this given to me

Yes there is a spot for a power nozzel to plug in. I tried to take a pic of the bottom lettering but the camera couldn't pick it up. Its a two speed too!, again, the heaviest vacuum I have ever picked up, just unbelievable in weight.

I got this given to me

Does anyone know anything about it? I was painting for a lady today and she was throwing it out. She said I could have it. I cannot believe how heavy it is. The only parts I got were the ones shown. It is made in the USA for Simpson Sears, so it is a Canadian model for sure. Its like lifting a...
