Scenes from the Balcony on a Saturday Morning

Nice pictures. I went to the beach an hour from my home. I have always wanted to see the beach in the winter. The last picture is of the crab apple trees at the end of May last year. Things will have to warm up a little bit before then

    15-FLAVOR CHICKEN SOUP

I just made a pot of this soup and it is delicious. I do find it is a little salty. I would used low salt stock or soya sauce. The soup with the fresh ginger and lime makes it so fresh tasting. Will make this again. Thanks.

    christmas tree

It was a good year for hydrangeas. The two small silver trees my mom bought in 1956. Each Christmas my sister and I got to put one of them up. I found the new old retro one at a junk sale. I wasn't going to put it up but my nieghbour found a colour wheel for me. The owner of the store that sold...

    Tour and a Kirby

I should have never washed the bag. I should not have used bleach either. I can't find the model # anywhere. Where is it usually? I was suprised the bulb even worked. I did a quick polish and it should be quite nice. The cord is pretty long and heavy. I wonder if the vacuum belonged to the post...

    Tour and a Kirby

Tour and a Kirby I didn't even ask if it worked? It started right up. Those bags get BIG. How old is this vacuum? Are the colours correct on it? The handle grip is black. Should it be red?

    Tour and a Kirby

A friend of mine is thinking of buying the old post office. She wants to turn it into a restaurant. I got to tour the place with her and it is amazing inside. The clock no longer works. The current owner tried to turn the place into a fleamarket/dollar store. It didn't work. The place is now...

    Favorite TV Show Maids/Housemothers

Florence all the way! She fell asleep vacuuming with a pale yellow Hoover. Don't remember Mr. Belvedere using a vacuum but I didn't watch the show that much.

The local hardware is closing after more than 60 years. No real bargains to be found and a lot of really old junk. I did find these bags for less than $2.00. Will they fit the new Constellations?

    Flood

Casualties With having to clear the entire basement out, I was getting sick of moving vacuums. The Kirby I never really liked and it was soaked. The Lux fell and the bottom broke, plus it was full of water. All the attachments I didn't care about and two power heads were just soaked. It all went...
