    well do as you will.... but i know this person by name. and i have a extreemely close firend and others that have had terrilble dealings with him regaurdless what ebay says. that is not always accurate....the prof is when you actually make the deal or the purchace.

    that one is..... but i beg of you.....DONT but it from that seller. he is a crook! he is famous for never paying, or sending a machine. i would hate for you to get excited over a treasure like that, then never to recive it....=(......just my advice...

    OMG!!!!! his cord and bag are original!!!!! DONT YOU DARE REPLACE OF TOUCH THOSE!!!!...if you do send them to me..lol.....=) but really, thatch is not common in all original condition...those bags had a bad habit of just flat falling apart. all u need is a hanger for it. and that amazing...

    rob..... no they used UNION ELECTRIC motor's until 1979!!!!...just the casing material was changed. and on the beater bars i said MOLDED BEATER BARS, NOT NO BEATER BARS....blow it out your ass......

    no rob.... not ALL Eureka PNs used that motor. the early 70's pwerteams used a metal cased motor made by Union Electric, then in 1979 the same motor was still used but with a plastic casing instead of metal. then in 1982 they used the GS motors. And i know you wouldn't know this cause you don't...

    Round belts?

    John is EXACTLEY right..... a Eureka RD (F&G) upright belt may look similar bit is WAY to big. go to a vac shop and just buy a Convertible belt, the Cvertible and Decade belts are the same....

    AHHH No .... the U6039 was part of the estate set in 1978 and was Sea Blue, not turquoise in the least. heres the page from the sales binder.

    no..... thats a INSANE price!!!!!......a model 70 in used condition is only worth about 30 bucks tops. mint all original, unused or used very little that's different. but used that will not sell to a collector for that. and also just a note to the original poster, the belt being in good...

    hey there..... i wanted to let you know, i got the cord on Ebay. i searched cloth covered reproduction cord, and you have to pick through till you find something rather correct for your project. i guess its still made for lamp collectors, and is also sold for appliances....its sold bi the foot...

    well..... i like that satin finish....but this one needed a little shine to look good.....the finish was kinda really dirty. so you gotta do what you gotta do. i wanted to leave the original metal alone on this one, since ive repainted my 541

    =) i went on ebay and invested in a new cloth covered cord, and a reproduction plug. i think it made the the whole machine look more authentic.

    ok..i got this 105 th summer. it was in decent condition, just needed a little love. it is a NON rebuilt Model 105. most that i see are the Special that were redone in the 40's....although this one says special also, i read that ewas just to disingish it and make clear that it was not...
