Well the deed is done finally. I am really quite surprised at the difference my D3 and this. They made a lot of updates and it’s a really nice machine to, especially now with brand new bearings! Now to keep my eyes out for a 2 speed E series on the cheap!

What a great score! I paid quite a bit more for my SE that I’m in the process of rebuilding now. I’d love to find an E series machine but every one I’ve found is going for 100s of dollars. Enjoy!

Tore into the power nozzle tonight. Unlike the power unit this was a marvel of simplicity to take apart. Had a couple of interesting surprises in it, mainly enough fluff to knit a sweater and Kirby belt.
