Hoover day at the thrift store!

I have never seen so many vintage hoovers in one spot on the same day!! I need a floor tool of some kind to go on my constellation, so I got the blue broom. Something tells me the self propelled thing might be special?

    looking for a canister

I agree~ You cant beat the Tristar/Compact for cleaning ability. Very simple, basic and strong. You cant hurt them and they clean great!! With the standard wands, you can even update the tools for the bare floor to a Wessel-Werk (sic?) tool that is great for both bare floors and carpet.

    Washing Machines

1964 Lady Kenmore Wringer! My vote goes to our 1964 Lady Kenmore wringer washer!! It recently saved us when a pipe burst in the downstairs and flooded the laundry room and den. Everything was carted out, so no laundry. The wringer (which was upstairs) was pressed into service on a daily basis...

That is a beautiful machine! I LOVE the carpet nozzel! Great for fine carpets that you dont want to beat with a brushroll, (looks like you have a nice carpet!). I only use this on my antique orientals and am very pleased with the results. The floor buffer/polisher pad that attaches to the rug...

Whats your quietest and loudest vacuum?

Quietest and Loudest Vac Fun Thread!! My quietest vacuum is a Eureka Roto-Matic tub from the early fifties in red. Made even quieter by the yellow fluffy toilet seat cover that is hooked onto the bottom of the machine by the tool hooks so as not to scratch her new wood floors as she pulled it...

Hi Experts! I need a pet attachment for my vintage pink (or "pank") as some say Filter Queen. It is the round one with little nubs all around. I use it to groom the dogs and the nubs gave it up today. Anyone have a nice one for sale? Thanks to all in advance!
