Thank you Rolls_rapide! I’ll need to look again for that loosened magnet and double check the other functions of the board. The other lights flicker once when I turn it on but I haven’t tested the brush or put my hand over the hose. I’m waiting until last to consider that it might be the PCB or...

By the way…… Disabling the auto adjustment is a horrible idea. All it does is prematurely shorten the life of the brush roll. The mechanism is designed to compensate for brush wear by lowering the nozzle incrementally as the bristles start to wear shorter. It’s probably not the deepest cleaning...

I thought the same thing…… I looked under the hood and everything is connected. The other lights for the bag and the brush are working, but I curious if the control board might be partially operational.

The brush roll is fine… Anyway, the brush roll won’t keep the up and down arrow lights from working. Right now the machine is on its lowest setting and when lock the handle it should begin to raise up from the floor. That’s not happening. Likewise, when I lower the handle it does nothing either.

Most any new model will have bugs Just to be fair, the SRX was uncharted territory for Rainbow and a departure from anything they've ever done before. I look at new vacuum models with the same hesitancy as new car models: don't buy it in its first year of production. Let them get the bugs out...

Why don’t you turn it over to God and just wait. Your daily messages won’t make the parts appear any sooner. Most of us have waited a long time for the right parts to show up. It took 3 years for me to find correct version of power nozzle for my Canadian Electrolux and it was worth the wait...
