Which Anatek Lamb motor is a direct fit for 6500sr?

compact9guy Do you have a picture of the original motor? It may be similar to a model L. That could help track a replacement.

    Delco Upright

Thanks for the info and the compliments! I found the Eclipse at an antique mall that I just happened to have time to stop into. The Delco I had seen on Craigslist for a long time but the guy wanted over 100 for it. It finally came to down to a much more reasonable price. Whats weird is someone...

    Polishing Extravaganza, The Eclipse Cleaner

The label states Manufactured For Eclipse Machine Company in Sidney,Ohio. There is a key on the underside of it that when turned releases the nozzle. I assume its a hookup for attachments or something.

    Fedelco before and after

It came a long way. The bag was ratty, had a few tears but my mother the sewing genius patched it up nicely. I repainted the bag graphics from plain yellow to gold. The motor just needed a good cleaning. It didn't have a brushroll but I managed to find one in the brushroll horde I've...

    Interesting Hoover Concept Brushroll Replacement

Yikes on price but it's cool someone put together a replacement for those rollers. I'm sure one of our members on here could probably do it cheaper!

    Eureka problem

Yikes! Shoots sparks from where? Maybe the commutator needs a turning.

    Commercial Beast Hoover U7037

Salvation Army find! Other than lubing the brushroll bearings and emptying the bag, there's nothing wrong with it! The belt was fine, the brush strips are at least half life, and the headlamp works! Twenty bucks took it home. Lol, now I have three.

    The Southwest Haul

The Kirby 514 I picked out of an outdoor thrift shop in Twenty nine Palms, CA for 5 bucks. The bag was destroyed on it so I chucked it, gladly it was not original. It was nestled into the sand next to a washing machine. The 516 I saw in a trash bin. It's in worse shape. Sun faded, rusty spots...

    Sad Kirby

I dont have pictures but I have the opportunity to get two sad Kirby 515's that have seen the ravages of the desert. Both motors need service, some original parts. One's free, other 8 bucks. Are they even worth scooping up? Found them while on vacation here in California.

    Lots of Vacs for sale

Get a dust mask on (or 3M respirator), get rubber gloves and start digging! Some of the best machines I've had came out of moldy old piles like that. Is there's a will, there's a way to save musty old vacs!
