Photo apps I checked, and iPhoto is still on my MacBook after upgrading to Yosemite, and it still works.  The new photo app won't be released until early next year, and they will halt updates to both iPhoto and Aperture.

I haven't checked the Photo app yet. I'm running it on a mid 2007 MacBook Pro. So far it looks really good.

So fae, so good. Install completed, and all is up and running. I use the following apps on my Mac: Office 365 VPN client VMware Fusion Groupwise client Novell Messanger FireFox browser Chrome browser. So far everything runs as expected. A pretty painless upgrade, and very good for a beta.

I joined the Beta program for OS X Yosemite. I feel pretty comfortable installing Apple beta releases. Never really had any serious problems with them before. Can't wait to see what the new features are like.
