My childhood Hoover identified! So the Hoover Convertible I rescued from curbside at age 15 was a 65. That's the one I rewound the field coil in to restore low speed. Thanks for the images!   Joel

How rebuilt? I remember seeing the 30 and 60 for sale in Spiegel catalogs. Did Metropolitan completely rebuild the motors, or did they just clean them and replace bearings and brushes? If they guaranteed these cleaners, I don't see how they could be comfortable with anything less than a full...
