    What A Conplete Marketing Fail!

Samsung has an infomercial now for it's new robot vac. Not that I would try one, but it's a convincing sales pitch, and it looks like it cleans well on TV. For my weekly deep cleaning, I'm not giving up my 35 ft. hose, power heads, or turbo brush for anything. Second hose in garage for...

    Best looking vacuum ever made.

Different strokes for different folks. For me, the Compacts are, and Eureka canned hams, and Hoover Connie's.

Miele SEB 217-3 Vacuum Power Brush

the 217 is a mediocre power brush anyway. Not for deep pile carpeting. When it was designed, not many if any had active brush edge cleaning. Suction only, and my Eureka ones did a good job when I had wall to wall carpeting. The 'Express' style power heads had active brush edge cleaning on the...

    Eureka rotomatic power team

couldn't help replying. I think it's mid to late 80's. The entry level ones from the 70's were gold and orange. Model 1620 and up. Then the 1200 series came along in about 1978 in Brandywine (1279) with canned ham shaped 1289 also. Green came following grey, and a royal blue, along with the...

    Bypass motor with most airflow

Several systems us the Lamb 2 or 3 stage bypass motors. Some for very large or commercial installations even use two motors. If you mean portable cleaners, then probably large commercial types.

    Our Early Computers

Me too Hans. I have no gumption to need the newest latest techy gadgets. I learned to use a computer on my job back in 1986. IBM 286, then a 386, then a 486. By Y2K, we were using wireless ISP systems. My first home computer that I used and went online with was an HP Pentium 1 in 1995 with a...

Proof That Dysons Are Toxic - But Only In California

Those warning labels are all over everything in California that contain or maybe may contain any sort of ingredients that may cause any type of a health risk. They are even posted at swimming pools. Now, maybe it goes too far, but anyone alive that remembers Love Canal, or the Hinckley...

Funniest lie told by a DTD salesman...

Bwaaaaahhhhhh! Love it Tod K. Before I'd post fake news, or have one of my chief advisors tell me to, I'd first think that my own building has security camera footage of all who come and go, and that I would more than likely know about it before last week, more like before the end of last year...

    Bette Davis Eyes

The acting in the new series can only be as good as Susan and Jessica are able to portray two very unique actress styles, but the stories are what makes it. It rekindles memories of their films and personalities. I think they and even Faye Dunaway would approve. I'm looking forward to more...
