I am finally finished with my first Kirby; Whoot Whoot!

Just beautiful!!! I don't see nothin' wrong with the bag either. What a contrast between the newly finished unit and the dual-sani. Great Job!

    How do I ???

I usually take mine into the sauna or steam room with me. It sort of detoxifies the internal parts....... Oh! LOL! After all these years, I STILL kill me! Seriously Brad, I find the only way to completely de-stink a vintage machine is to completely disassemble it and wash the heck out...

    OLD KIRBYS

Let's try to keep in mind - this is a brand new forum user and is perhaps trying to share his enthusiasm for Kirbys. I wonder how I would feel if this were my first post, and I read what followed my message. Dwayne, I must say though - the use of capital letters makes it look as if you are...

Welcoming A New Member to the Hoover Family

Great machine Terry! It makes such a nice pattern on the carpet. I DO hope you did like I taught you, and backed out of the room so there are no feet prints in the just vacuumed rugs. You can never go into that room again unless of course you have a vacuum with you! Pretty unit! Rick

Cool source for amazing old vacuum plates/nozzle plugs

I got this from that seller, ....and could not be more pleased. They are brand new - just like he says, and it arrived heavily padded in styro-sheets. I will be using it on my model 58 when I do the restore on it. The flaw around the rivet (which shows up more in this photo than it seems in...

By far the UGLIEST Lux XXX ever!

Silverlux, This unit functions quite well. It is the best door stop ever built. I did test it with a 20' length of cord that is attached to my 1963 Sears Kenmore upright. The upright is just sitting there anyway, while I print up more Universal stickers. This is all a moot point now however...

By far the UGLIEST Lux XXX ever!

Terry? Terry do good deeds? HA! Who was it that let me into his home when I wasn't invited at the first annual Terry extravaganza three years ago? Well, OK - that was Terry. Then who went with me to New Britain and held a cold washcloth on my head the entire plane trip 'cause I ain't been on...
