I know its a long shot, but I would love to find a black belt lifter for my 505. It's such a nice machine, it's a shame for it to have the wrong belt lifter. If anyone has a spare stashed away...name your price.

I'm having trouble determining if my 510 should have a black bakelite Emtor tray or the later gray plastic kind. My 505 and 508 both have the bakelite trays. What model did they start using gray? I have both types of trays, but I'm not sure which is technically correct. The 510 in question is...

Mike, This would indeed be the appropriate cord for your 560. :-)

This is not an aftermarket bag, it's a genuine Kirby bag used on the Sanitronic machines. I have one as well and it has a Scott & Fetzer tag on it. (Sorry, not for sale).

I'd have to agree with Bikerray, I've replaced the emptor gasket on dozens of Kirbys and never had a problem with leaking, and it takes about 3 minutes. You can spend extra money to buy a new emptor tray, sure...but it won't be the original gray plastic or black Bakelite, it will be new cheap...
