A very large box arrived on my front porch today.

Hmm That power nozzle looks very familiar. I wonder where you found that 😜. Nice rainbow. I do have a machine d4 dolly. I'll get it to you with the rest of your d3.

    Help! Dyson problem.

By swapping The leads from the Caron brushes an ac motor can be reversed. That just flips the internal polarity of the motor. Not something that's seen very often.

    Help! Dyson problem.

Correct. Ctvacman is right they just look that way. It really is a rather wimpy brush for such a vacuum. It's not possible to reverse the motor by just swapping the ground and neutral. Because we all have what's called alternating current ( it changes direction 60 times a second) you can...

    Just a thought....

Your exactly right The s7 series was designed for the US market. Miele North America asked the powers that be for an upright vacuum as many homes here are mostly carpet. Miele corporate refused to put the money and man hours into designing an upright without proof that it would sell. So was...

Kirby Shampoo and Removing Blood Stain

Personally For a blood stain I wouldn't use any kind of shampoo. I use straight hydrogen peroxide and an old towl.

What vacuums do you HATE to work on...

For me it's A dyson dc28 or a Bissell pro heat 2x for the most hated. Most dysons are a pain, though iv gotten rather good with the 7, 14, and 17. Rainbows don't bother me too much anymore, but the d2 and d3 I still try to avoid. Give me a sanitaire or electrolux tank any day! Kirby's aren't...

Consumer Reports hits a new LOW...(Vacuum Ratings)

A few years ago CR rated the eureka boss (RR style bag) very highly. So of course droves of people went out and bought one. Iv heard an encyclopedia of complaints on that machine. Everything from too heavy, too bulky, belts don't last more than a month, useless on hard floors, hard to push, and...

    The time has come.

DT The nozzles are all made by centec. Always have been and still are. Iv been in the industry for 8 years.

    My Kirby shampooer, doesn't

Okay just checking. I wonder if Kirby shampoo goes bad. Just to be safe I would clean all the parts with some white vinegar to remove any build up then try a fresh bottle of Kirby shampoo. If often found it best to explore the least expensive options first just in case. If the little screen is...

Consumer Reports hits a new LOW...(Vacuum Ratings)

I never did Have much faith in consumer reports. I have always felt their testing of vacuums was somewhat unrealistic. To me testing a vacuum in a warehouse with staged dirt is nothing like cleaning a really dirty house. I would be more appt to trust a review from a cleaning lady who uses the...

in the market for a new steam vac

My opinion. Anything but a Bissell pro heat I see them in the trash all the time. The heater clog after a few uses. And they leave the carpets too wet. When I had my store I repaired a handful a week. I like the hoover spin scrub. Works well. And they hold up. I despise a rug doctor. They are...

    My Kirby shampooer, doesn't

Maybe this is dumb question but are you using Genuine Kirby suds? Regular extraction shampoo won't work with a Kirby. No offence intended just asking.

Is the Cord Fairy tempting me here

These have Always been available from Panasonic. That price is high. Though I'm used to wholesale. The locking cord winders that don't use a button are the hard ones to find. They were more exclusive to sears.

    The time has come.

Low voltage Is what activates a central vacuum. This is one the unit is turned on an off remotely. These hoses use four wires. It has two seperate circuits. One for low voltage and one for 120v to the power nozzle. Centec manufactors those power nozzles as well as many of the hoses. Royal uses...

    Unethical Aerus LLC Sale?

Ok I have to chime in. I live 10 minutes from Greenwood, DE. Greenwood is a small town with mostly older homes, there are no luxurious houses what-so-ever. In fact the only store in Greenwood in a Dollar General. This is a small country town. Ok so that's the facts on Greenwood. The local...

    Rare dirt devil upright

That's very cool. I have seen dirt devil labeled outer bags for the metal royal uprights. This is a very cool find. I have to wonder if it was made just for a wholesale club or company. Coati or SAMs club perhaps. Would be very interesting to find out.
