Stark/Royal Classic PowerTeam 4650, repair questions

Hoses are available But only as a replacement hose blank. You would have to reuse the old ends and pigtail cord. The replacement for this model is black, red and blue are long gone. Not the cheapest part either the new blank along is around $90. I am also seeing the two wire hose blank is...

Taking apart fan case on an Aerus Motor.

Don't do it. Those new motors are not ment to come apart or be serviced other than carbon brushes. Sadly you will have to replace the whole motor if it's not usable. Such a shame really, the old motors where so much better.

    Budd Central Vacuums

I have Heard of them though I have never actually seen one. To my understanding they are mostly seen in the new jersey area. I believe their company base is in that area. A few on my customers here in Delaware have given rave reviews of them. Mostly all transplants from new jersey or new York.

    Just checking before I toss.

New hose for $25 ? Where are you finding new hoses for $25? I had a store and still couldn't get one for that.

    Electrolux Guardian Help

The motor board? Thin circuit board built into a round rubber plug? I believe I have a few. I'll send what I have for cost of postage.

    Hard decision

Hi momof15! This sure sounds like quite the canundrum. The battle between and canister, upright, or central vac I think really comes down to personal preference. I myself prefer a canister or ideally a central system. I know a nice upright such as a Kirby or Riccar will do the same thing but...

    royal shake out bag

Love it! I have always thought a shake out bag just looks better on a royal. I prefer a paper bag for dust retention but a shake out just looks right.

    Kenmore magic blue help

That is very odd Not very useful if it can't be attached to the hose. I had the early gray magic an all the tools on that one fit the hose and the wand. Makes me wonder why they would change that.

    Kenmore magic blue help

Does it Attach to the crevice tool and not the hose? I have seen that before but I can't recall if it was that late magic blue that did that or another vacuum all together. Just a thought.

    Corded Wessel Werk EBK360

I don't think Wessell has that model available with a cord at all. A little weird I know but oh well. Do you have a power nozzle jack on your mighty might? You could just add a pigtail to the top of the direct connect wand for a standard eureka metal end connection. Or if you don't have the...

    WANTED: Air-Way hose

Wow That's a new one. The red bristles are really cool looking too. I completely understand saving it. I would probably take it out and put a regular white bristle roller in for use. But that's just me.

    WANTED: Air-Way hose

Unique brush roll? I thought the centurion used the centec/ kenmore power nozzle? What's unique about the brush roll? Just asking, very heard this before.

the reviews of vacs: oreck xl

Dan I have done both, sold the orecks and used the orecks as part of a cleaning company. The two are badly different. As a salesman I saw a lot of them come in for maintainance and repair. As the person who used them I saw the flaws and the constant need for adjustments. It's extremely...

the reviews of vacs: oreck xl

Orecks for commercial use. I have also used orecks for commercial use. I use these primarily for house cleaning with some commercial offices and a few other buildings in the schedule. After using these machines for a few months my impression of them turned rather sour. First this is while that...

    Oreck XL21 Legend

Those where available in stores When I worked for oreck quite a few years ago ( 4 or 5 years) we sold these in the store. This model has the same inner workings as the XL21 just a different handle grip. I believe these were sold at a lower price point with a shorter warranty period. I seem to...

    Electrolux Centralux Burned Out Motor??

Sounds like it's a goner With the grinding sound that makes me think that bearings have gone out and damaged other items on the way. The click your hearing is the relay so that is working the only other possibility is the motor. In my personally and professional experience it's not worth...

    Seeking a Hoover...probably!!

I agree with Matt. Having don't both commercial and residential cleaning for over 5 years now I keep my vacuums seperated. I like my regular canisters for cleaning home, usually a Henry with power head or my old beat up electrolux. However for commercial jobs I use a two vacuum system...

    Royal Deluxe Power Team Help

Does the cord Go all the way to the power nozzle? Or does it have another connection point on the bottom end of the wand? If it's the one piece cord I do have one. It's black rather than blue. Royals last available color before fully discontinued. I would still want to replace the hose or at...

no shop vac plus horror story

Personally I would head to the nearest Walmart or lowes and get a cheap $40-$50 shop vac. For messes like that it's worth having one on hand. I use the paper bags in mine and it does work much better than just the filter.
