    Dyson DC-17 Rehab

Check your cyclone seal The dc17 had a flaw with bottom cyclone seal to the bin lid that would allow it to move about of place and caused the pre motor filter to get filthy and some extreme cases burnt up the motor. Make sure that seal is seated and glued to the cyclone. If it's not sealing to...

New for me Oreck Orbiter on order-Methods and experience please

Oreck dry carpet cleaner is manufactured for Oreck by a carpet company. It really is a great product but have spare bags handy when using it. It's clogs bags up pretty fast. If you have a lowes near by you can get the same stuff labeled as capture cheaper than what Oreck sells it for. I have...

What will take scuffs off of a plastic vacuuum?

I use rubbing alcohol. I won't use magic erasers unless I have to. They do scratch.

    Found another usual Gem

Love it. I had one of these several years ago now. It was a beast of a vacuum but gave pretty impressive results. I am still kicking myself for sellin it. It has been on my wish lift to find another for several years now. I hope you enjoy it.

    Brand New Rainbow SE PE

WOW That is an incredible gift and find. Nothing like a brand new vacuum that has been in the box for 20 + years. I have been on a rainbow kick myself lately. My D4C has gotten quite a bit on use in the last month. Seth

Help me find these parts for my Electrolux CB2000

I may be able to help. Okay. I do have a hose cord and power nozzle. May not be exact but pretty close match for this model. Now the filter is a whole other story. Those are no longer available from anyone. I have tried to find one that would fit but so far no luck. So don't toss that one out...

I've had it with the Eureka Boss SmartVac!

Belts on this model are a common problem. I found when I had my store that this model was good until it starts breaking belts. That's usually the start of a lot more belts and brush rolls. May be best to just replace the vacuum. I haven't a clue who designed these weird belts but they haven't...

    homade bumpers

That's a great idea! I may have to try that on my vac I use for work (house cleaning). My poor vacuums get all kinds of marks. Always a little worried that Ill leave marks on a customers baseboards.

    A Dyson that deep cleans!

My 1.5 cents I have to say the first few dysons I used were rather lousy at best. I owned a dc07 an found it to be nearly useless on most carpeting. So with a sour taste from Dyson I banned them completely for a long time. Well now I have gotten over that and I own several. I have a dc17...

Stark/Royal Classic PowerTeam 4650, repair questions

Any Generic hose blank will fit your old machine. Since you don't have the newer handle grip you can find a replacement hose blank for that anywhere. They run about $30. I have several in different colors sitting in the storage unit. Gray, white, and black.
