Does anyone have any instructions on how to replace the handle spring assembly in a Kirby Omega? I need to replace the whole assembly in the Kirby Omega that I just bought. Thanks!

    Repairing Kirby bags

Ended up getting the holes patched up with some iron on patches on the inside and you can't really see them. Do have a new question now. Just got a Kirby Classic and after washing the bag I noticed that the previous owner used elmers glue or something like that to re attach the corners of the...

    My Kirby's

Got the last parts I needed today in the mail. Ordered a new headlight lens and some new wheels. Bought a replacement light bulb from the Kirby shop and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. One question I have though is are the new wheels supposed to be slightly thinner than the originals...

    My Kirby's

Still waiting for some new wheels and headlight lens to come in the mail and need to go to the Kirby store for a new light bulb but the Classic Ω is pretty much done. Got the bag patched up with some iron on patches on the inside which fixed the holes really well and polished it up with some...

Cool so it sounds like it is possible to repair these bags. I'll see about getting some supplies and try my hand at sewing them up.

    Repairing Kirby bags

Has anyone ever repaired a shake out bag on a Kirby? Started cleaning up my Classic Ω and after taking the bag off the hanger to wash it I noticed there is a small hole in it. I know how to sew it shut but I was wondering if anyone has done this before and if so what kind of thread would I need...

    My Kirby's

I was wondering about the handle when I noticed that it had no Ω on it. Wonder if it was replaced with it at one time or they just sent out an old handle when the person I got it from bought it

    My Kirby's

Found another Kirby to work on today. Found this Classic Ω on craigslist for 35 bucks. Looked it over when I got home and so far it seems to run nicely, the fan looks like it's in good shape and the only thing I notice wrong with it (so far before I take it apart to polish it up) is it's dirty...

    My Kirby's

I've checked the junk mail folder and I still don't see anything from you. I did just in case add your address to the safe sender list so maybe it was doing some auto blocking thing I did not know about. Really sorry about this. I've never had this happen before so I'm trying to figure it out.

    My Kirby's

Good eye vacerator! Yup that's Discord my 92 Dodge Dynasty. She has a few rust spots and a sagging headliner but I've done quite a bit of engine work on her (new timing chain and a couple new pistons due to broken rod bolts that I discovered after changing the oil pan gasket right after I bought...

    My Kirby's

Thank you! I'm planning on going back and re polishing the Tradition sometime. It's shiny but you can still see some of the oxidation that was there. Should be able to remove that no problem now that I know how to do it.

    My Kirby's

Hello! I'm pretty new to the vacuum collection hobby but I thought you guys might like to see my two Kirby vacuums that I've cleaned up. The first one is a Kirby Tradition that I found at a thrift store for 15 bucks that came with a mostly complete case of attachments. Did an alright job at...
